What a beautiful cat

As Aurelia lifted Jade's unconscious form, I followed her silently, my mind still reeling from the intensity of the confrontation. We made our way back to the castle, Aurelia's steps purposeful and determined. She didn't speak, but the tension radiating from her was palpable, filling the air with a sense of unease.

When we reached the castle, Aurelia handed Jade off to a passing servant, instructing them to take her to the infirmary and see to her injuries. Once Jade was in capable hands, Aurelia turned to me, her gaze searching. We then went to Aurelia's office.

"Are you hurt?" she asked, her voice soft with concern.

I shook my head, still trying to process everything that had just happened. "No, I'm fine. Thanks to you."

Aurelia's expression softened slightly, relief flickering in her eyes. "Good. I wouldn't forgive myself if you were hurt because of my own solders."
