Chapter 14: Handy's dreamed

"That's not my business. If you don't pay me, I won't let you leave," she shouted, calling him a thief.

"Don't shout at me like that. Leave me alone," Handy begged.

"No, I won't let you go," she insisted, continuing to grab his shirt and shout at him.

Suddenly, Handy woke up from the nightmare.

Jesus which kind of dream Is this," Handy said then he realized that sparm was all over his trousers then he went to the bath room and took his bath and clean up himself.

While showering, he considered praying about the bad dream he had, but exhausted, he returned to bed and quickly fell asleep without doing so.

In his next dream, Handy and his gang members were robbing a bank. They filled a large bag with money and fled the scene in their car. Elated by the thought of their share of the stolen money, they sped away.

Suddenly, they heard the sound of police sirens approaching from behind. They had to act fast, so they started shooting at the pursuing police car.

The police returned fire, and Handy, who was driving, stepped on the gas to outrun them.

As the police realized the gang was pulling away, they increased their speed also and managed to catch up, when the police got to the side of their car, they began to shoot them through the car window.

As the police were shooting them the glass of the car which Etim and his gang were driving got broken instantly. The glass wounded Handy and two of them in the car.

Etim spoke up from the backseat, "Let's face them, or else they'll destroy our vehicle."

Handy stopped the car, and the gang members stepped out to confront the police.

The police men also packed their car and face them with their guns. Gun bullet flow between the police and the gang members.

As the smoke cleared all the police officers lay dead and none of the gang died but their body was weak.

Then they decided to move forward so as to get to their destination and rest.

Etim and his gang went to their vehicle and saw that the sit of their vehicle is not good for sitting again because the broken glasses have spread to all the sit.

And they carried the money out to the police vehicle. They carried the money inside the booth and transfer it to the police vehicle. Then entered the police car and sped away.

As they were driving, another police car was coming towards them. The police officers in the vehicle went to block their way.

Then Etim ordered his gang members to get out and eliminate the threat. They emerged from the vehicle, guns blazing, but their bullets failed to harm the police officers.

All the police officer also came out to attack them. All the officers were women, but they are more powerful than the men the gang members had killed.

Then the gang members continued shooting, only for their bullets to fall harmlessly to the ground.

When the officers realized the gang's bullets had no effect, they returned fire. However, their bullets also seemed ineffective.

The officers then resorted to throwing daggers, the daggers roll and harm two gang members while the remaining four narrowly dodged the projectiles.

And the gang quickly entered the police car that they're driving and turned intantly and sped away.

The officers pursued them in their own vehicle, with Etim driving at top speed to evade capture.

Glancing behind him to gauge the distance between them and the police, Etim momentarily lost focus.

The car veered left, crashing into a large stone. The impact sent their vehicle flying through the air before landing upside down.

Handy suddenly awoke from the dream, drenched in sweat despite the functioning air conditioner. Disturbed by the vividness of his dream, he glanced at the wall clock opposite his bed, which read 4:30 AM.

He spent the next two hours pondering the significance of the dream, unable to fall back asleep until daybreak.

At 7 AM, Handy shared his dreams with his fellow gang members.

Samba suggested they consult the native doctor for guidance. Everyone agreed, and Handy called the native doctor, putting the phone on speaker so the others could hear.

After exchanging greetings, Handy recounted both dreams and asked for advice on how to avoid their dire outcomes.

The native doctor requested some time to consult the oracle.

Upon returning, he shared the oracle's insights.

"The Oracle said that the first dream signify that another gang members will come to rub all of you and take away what you supposed to share among your gangs."

He paused a little bit and said the meaning of the second dream.

"The Oracle said, that the meaning of the second dream is that, a woman police that her power is more than yours will rise against all of you. And the second meaning of the dream is that an accident is going to occur."

Handy asked what they could do to protect themselves.

The native doctor consulted the oracle once more.

He returned with the oracle's guidance: "You must not travel this week, as an accident will occur if you do. If you need to travel, wait until next week."

"Furthermore, you must come to me so I can amplify your powers to defend against the rival gang. Lastly, I will prepare a sacrifice to ensure that no female police officer can defeat you in the future."

Handy thanked the native doctor for his advice, and the call ended. The gang agreed to postpone their trip to Lagos until the following week, heeding the oracle's warnings and advice.

Mr. And Mrs. Sam were worried, they couldn't sleep all through the night because of their baby that was Kidnapped.

They also phoned the police to find out their Investigation on the baby and the Police told them to be patient that the situation would be solved in no time.

When it is 10:00am Mrs. Sam went to one of her friend's house. Her friend welcomed her and she narrated the story to her friend.

Her friend's name was Lola, Lola was moved with pity and told her to see a prophet in their church on Wednesday then she described the church and told her the time she could see the prophet.

"Thank you my friend, I will go and see him on Wednesday," said Mrs.Jamo.

"Ok, I pray that the secrets of the kidnappers will be revealed," Lola said

And she answered, "Amen." Then she left.

On Wednesday Morning, Mr. and Mrs. Sam prepared themselves to go to the prophet that Lola had discribed.

When they got to the church the gate man directed them to the Prophet office and they went straight to the office and knocked at the door.

The Prophet asked them to come in.

They entered and greeted the Prophet, "Good morning sir, " both of them said at the same time.

"Morning, have your sit," said the Prophet. And they sat down.

"How can I help you?" asked the Prophet.

"Sir, our child was kidnapped and we have informed the police but the police have not been able to apprehend the kidnappers and our child has not been found," said Mr. Sam.
