Entering Baltimore

"Are you sure you want to do this, dear husband?" Lumina's low, nervous voice echoed from the small tent they spent the night in.

"I can't just rush in there without a plan."

Asmodeus leaned against the entrance, his pristine and elegant clothes replaced with poorly made slops and cheap cloth slacks. Although he looked attractive, his attire drastically reduced his charm and appeal.

Lumina closed her eyes and hummed, clearly displeased.

"Well, I know you have a point, but I don't like it..." She shuffled towards him and leaned against his chest, closing her eyes slowly, like a cat bathing in the warm sunlight.

The two had been together for several days, yet Asmodeus once felt doubtful and unsure about her affections towards him. Yet now, he couldn't help stroking her silky white hair, enjoying the heat that spread through him... Although the clothing looked cheap and poor, the comfort and quality inside couldn't be matched.
