The immigration and competitive job market crisis was something players usually had to deal with in the real world. 

After all, they had to compete with many other people for a few position slots in the company. It wouldn't be a surprise for one to be stuck in the job market application hell for years. 

To prevent their sanity from being consumed by the constant rejection email, people often turn to things that entertain them, with most being video games. 

Hence, games were like an escape path to be away from reality and the constant pressure and stress.

However, what if that same situation was happening in the very game that they tried to escape?
