-10 Years Post Saturation Completion. CONT-
"What…you thought I'd kick the bucket before getting my hands on one of these things, little brother? I didn't know you'd become so damn naive." With some laughter, a few bloody coughs, and a grunt of pain, I motioned for my brother to pick the pills up.
"Take yours, then feed me the last one; I know s**t hit the fan on the outside, and I've been keeping tabs on how yall are doing through Ark-Net…so while…COUGH…I was in here training; I was also doing as much research as possible, memorizing everything I could that would help us when we made the jump back in time."
"While I have no clue what day we will go back to, or even if we will end up spawning on the same date or separated by years, I already created an entire plan…" As luck would have it, as I finished saying the word plan, my right lung collapsed, making it almost impossible to breathe.
Making a split-second decision and turning blue in the face, I acted quickly. Slapping the inner part of my remaining gauntlet twice, the needle, which usually injects potions into my bloodstream, extended out, and with Brenden's help, we stabbed it into my chest, creating a tiny hole and allowing my lung to inflate.
It wasn't a permanent fix, but it would give me enough time to finish saying what needed to be said.
"Listen, I don't doubt you already gave a pill to Emilia; that's good, and I'm proud of you for putting her before your own needs, but come on, cut me some slack here; what if I hadn't earned a f**k ton of cash, what were you going to do then?" Feeling blood trickling down my chest, I smirked up at Brenden, only to notice tears staining his cheeks.
"Knock it off; why are you crying? Sure, I probably look like ground beef right now, but it's all good; feed me my pill, and we will meet up again in the past."
With a loud sniffle, Brenden rolled his eyes and gently fed me the RC-Pill after popping his own into his mouth and chewing it with an audible crunch.
Meanwhile, I, on the other hand, didn't even have enough strength left to break through the plastic-like exterior of the pill sphere.
"A little help here," I complained while rolling the pill around on my tongue.
SMACK CRUNCHHHH
"AH, For F**k Sake, Brenden my teeth, MY BEAUTIFUL TEE…oh wait, ima about to kick the bucket it, what does it matter." Wishing I could rub my swelling chin from where my brother had smacked me, I complained before chuckling.
"Alright…so…I guess I'm heading off first, Brenden…here…" With a thought, my Ark-Phone dropped out of my inventory and into my lap.
"Take it, read through everything I wrote; there are detailed notes with the full plan I've come up with, along with all the knowledge you could need. Think of this as a backup plan, just in case you arrive before me; that way, you can lay the groundwork necessary for our success." I said while noticing that my vision was beginning to blur and darken, a sign my time was near.
"Don't be so quick to off yourself either; stay here for as long as you can; if we have even a slim chance at pulling off my plan, you need to Evolve and feel what it's like at the peak…plus…the monsters here in this instance… for some reason, give a lot of Xp toward Racial Upgrades; you need to reach the peak as I did…" By this point, I had gone completely blind and was hanging on by a thread, but I needed to get these last words out, and then I would be alright with dying.
"Reach 6C…that…way…we can take…over…as Prymordyal Hyumun's together…we… will…be…the…top…of…..the…food…cha…" My last word never reached Brenden, but I knew I got my point across.
December 24th, 2039, was the Day I died in the past; my life had been wrought with chaos, pain, and trauma. I had risen to a level of strength that I never believed possible upon receiving my lackluster initial status.
Yet, thanks to the massive battle that occurred the Day I died, I reached Zeta Rank in both rank and talent potential. I had earned enough money to buy the coveted RC-Pill for myself and my brother, and now…it was time to begin my story anew.
My life before Arkadia wasn't great, especially my childhood. Bullying, Physical and Mental abuse…I had even been assaulted in "that way" by a neighbor who used to babysit me when I was in elementary school…. Now that I was going back, and the last dregs of my consciousness were fading, I couldn't help but hope that I'd go ALL the way back, back to when I was a child; that way, I could deal with all those who had wronged me, and set me on the path inevitably leading to me becoming the worlds most dangerous Villain.
Xipher's true identity had never been revealed to the world, and only Brenden and Emilia knew, which gave me quite a bit of wiggle room and safety.
But more importantly, by going back, I could right the one wrong I had committed and give my Father the life he deserved…
'That's right…Dad…I can see you again, and this time, I'll be the son I should have always been.' With that final thought, I ceased to feel or think anything and had truly died.
Unfortunately, I was unable to see the spam of text dialog Arkadia was cooking up…
