Time is…weird. While there are thousands and thousands of theories about how it works, in actuality, apart from knowing that it is a construct of life, it has always been something that was considered CONSTANT.
There isn't supposed to be a way to move back or forward in time; no, as a construct of perspective, we were only meant to exist in what was considered the present.
Yet, Arkadia, a mysterious mechanism filled with untold power, broke this mold in the form of an item that allowed for a seamless movement of one's soul and mind from one point in time to another, so long as the person was alive in the previous time period.
Time travel has always been a decently well-detailed aspect seen in the fantasy genre; however, there has never been a singular mold or TRUE decision as to how Time Travel would work.
