CHAPTER SIXTEEN: QUITE EVERYTHING...

THE HOODED ONE'S STORY.

MEMOIR TWO.

"Hey Hood…eventhough I didn't win doesn't mean you can't tell me…why the hell you always wear a hood" Fenice blurts as he drops on the floor in exhaustion, he's panting and sweating a lot -and I thought I was going easy on him-, "A deal's a deal Fenice…and you lost so..." I respond good-naturedly, he glares up at me in annoyance and says, "Just because you always beat me in spells doesn't mean I don't beat you in…" he pauses, absolutely lost for words, I smile, that is undoubtedly because he doesn't beat me in anything infact nobody does, -but- as he gets up I acknowledge for the umpteenth time – that he's the only one who never gives up- "Hey Hood…another round, shall we? except if you're tired..." he sneers as he brings out his magic wand from the pocket of his green, oversized coat, I sigh -now he wants a wand-battle- "Okay then…let's go…" I say.

THE HOODED ONE'S POINT OF VIEW.

I walk into my study-room, it is not as huge as the one I have back at the Magedom but due to the coeducation balance with the Mage and Reverred students, I must learn to adapt , suddenly and to my surprise, Rev Netyisha walks in she casually steps to the first shelf "Sorry for intruding but…I just really had to discuss with you about dark-cores" she says simply, I sigh in exhaustion at all -the talk today- "So…what in particular do you want to discuss about?" I ask impatiently, Netyisha pauses before responding "Quite everything about you…"

THE HOODED ONE'S POV END.

*********

We manage to kill the beast but I am thirsty as I am pained -did it have to use a stream as a mirage?- as Rave and I lay on the floor exhausted, I can't help but feel uncomfortable, because I am very conscious of Rave staring intently at me, "Don't worry, I'll get us water…" Rave suddenly promises as he suddenly stands up "But promise to tell me everything you know about the system" he adds, -why would he think I know about the system?- "Why do you think I even know the system well?" I ask cheerily, he shrugs "Someday you're going to be on top all of it right?...so definitely you should know a bit about it" he intones simply,-he has appeased me with his acknowledging words- I nod and say "I'll tell you what I know, in hope that you don't destroy all of it someday", his expression falls "I can't promise that…" he states solemnly.
