"Now that I look at it more!"Kaito said

The Spec's body seemed to ripple and vibrate with an ethereal resonance as if it were composed of sound waves given form. It had no distinct shape, constantly shifting and morphing in a mesmerizing display of auditory illusions.

"It looks..." Kaito said

The Spec dashed, its form blurring as it hurtled towards Kaito.

He immediately launched himself into a mid-air leap that carried him a few inches out of harm's way.

But the Spec's body morphed into a whirlwind of motion as it closed in on Kaito once more.

This time, it unleashed a fast kick that Kaito barely had time to react to.

He raised his left Tonfa, and the blade bit deep into the Spec's energy. sparks flying as the two forces clashed.

The impact sent Kaito flying across the room, his body crashing into the wall with a loud thud. He slid to the ground, dazed and disoriented.

Kaito groaned, his body aching from the impact, as he slowly struggled to his feet.

'How am I going to beat this thing?! It's too fast, too powerful!' He thought, his eyes fixed on the Spec as it charged towards him once more.

'And I still don't know its Climax State... but I can't afford to waste time anymore!!'

Kaito swept his Blade Tonfas in a devastating horizontal swing, unleashing a shockwave that tore through the air like a razor-sharp blade. The Spec was hurled through the air,

The shockwave slammed into the wall, sending debris flying everywhere.

"Thunderwave Cleaver!" He yelled,

The Spec hung suspended in mid-air before a strange, pulsating sound filled the air.

The ground beneath Kaito's feet began to ripple and distort, like the surface of a pond hit by a stone. The ripples grew in intensity,

"What?!" Kaito's eyes widened in shock as he stared at the rippling ground.

'What in the world is that?!' he thought, before turning to flee from the distorted earth.

But the Spec dashed, its form blurring as it closed in on Kaito. A powerful fist slammed into Kaito's chest, sending him crashing to the ground.

He bounced off the floor, coughing up blood. With a swift backflip, he regained his footing.

'I can't let this drag on or I'll run out of Climax Energy!' he thought,

"Voltstream!" he yelled, charging his Blade Tonfas with climax energy then shot out a concentrated lightning beam aiming for the spec

But the Spec merely sneered, "Too weak!" it taunted, slapping the attack away like a pesky insect and it exploded behind it,

Kaito's eyes are wide with shock.

'That was my strongest long-ranged attack...' Kaito thought.

'What do I do now?!' he thought, his eyes fixed on the Spec

The Spec's head snapped to the left, its eyes blazing with intensity. "He's still running?!" it snarled, before unleashing a devastating blast of energy that ripped through the air.

Kaito's eyes widened in horror. 'Huh? Why did he shoot there?!' he thought before his gaze landed on a small figure sprinting away from the blast. "Wait, the kid's there! He's a goner!!"

Atashi, the young boy, was racing against time,

heart pounding in his chest. 'My name is Atashi, and I'm trapped in this nightmare,' he thought, 'My clan owes the X-Specs a debt, and I'm the payment. The exam's rules are simple: rescue citizens and return alive. But I'm just a kid, and this monster wasn't in the description!!'

As Atashi leaped over a rock, he heard a blast hurtling towards him. 'No! This can't be happening! I'm dead...' he thought, immediately blast landed and an explosion engulfed him in a blaze of sound.

As the smoke cleared, Atashi groggily opened his eyes, only to find himself being carried by Kaito at lightning speed! "Huh?!" he exclaimed with confusion.

Kaito grinned, noticing Atashi's eyes were open. Oh hey! Hope you're fine! And wait, you're a girl?!" he exclaimed, his eyes widening in surprise.

Atashi's face turned bright red then she poked Kaito's eyes, causing him to yelp in pain. "Ow, ow, ow, ow!"

Causing them to crash on the ground, Kaito groaned, "Why?!"

Atashi huffed, her cheeks still flushed. "Hmm!"

Kaito sighed, "Hmmm?" Immediately he swiftly scooped her up and dodged a blast attack that destroyed the ground beneath them.

The Spec, perched atop a building, snarled,

You're moving too much! Stay still and make a rack out of you!"

The Spec manifested a sonic ball and hurled it at Kaito and Atashi with incredible speed.

"Those rippled sounds..." Kaito muttered, then leaped off the wall, landing a few meters away.

"It's sound waves!" Kaito realized, his eyes widening in alarm.

In a split second, Kaito flung Atashi away, sending her flying through the air. "What?!" she cried out, her voice trailing off.

Kaito's eyes widened in horror. "Uh no, I screwed up!" he says, as the Spec materialized directly in front of him.

A blinding white light enveloped Kaito, and everything went silent.

At Fushiguro's House,

Fushiguro's voice echoed through the room. "Why do you keep hesitating, Kaito?!" he demanded.

Kaito, running on the treadmill, replied, "Hesitating?!"

"You hesitate when sparring with me?! You're not giving your best! If you continue that way, you'll die!!" Fushiguro said,

A white light engulfed the scene

Kaito lay on the floor, his face bloodied, his eyes blurry. "Huh, how long was I out...?" he thought.

He looked down at his hands, seeing his tonfas still clutched in his grasp. "My tonfas...hmm..."

As he gazed up at the Spec, "I have to..."

Suddenly, Fushiguro's words flashed back in his mind. "You'll die!!"

Kaito let out a frustrated sigh. "Ah, what the hell!!" He charged towards the Spec with his Blade Tonfas clashing with each dash.

He swiftly closed the distance,

"Electro-Grapple Surge!" he yelled, channeling a powerful lightning current into his tonfas. The Spec stumbled back.

The shockwaves of energy sent it stumbling, leaving it momentarily incapacitated.

Kaito's eyes gleamed. "Maybe I can do it now!!" he thought, his grip on his tonfas tightened

Kaito's eyes flashed back to memories of his past, each one a reminder of his struggles. He threw a beam on a rainy day, on a sunny day, at night... But on a rainy day, his fear took hold, and he hesitated, splashing water everywhere. Yet, he still threw the beam.

The flashback ended. 'Maybe' he thought, "Stormbreaker!" he roared, throwing his right Tonfa transforming into a colossal lightning bolt.

"You're through!" he declared, hurling the bolt at the Spec.

Spec sneered, "A pity attack! It won't have an effect!" But Kaito grinned fiercely. "You sure about that?"

The Spec's eyes widened "Huh, where is he?!"

Kaito crouched behind it, it moved its gaze toward him

Kaito's Tonfa swung towards the Spec's neck, aiming for its core.

"The core is at your neck!" he exclaimed,

As the lightning bolt reached its target. Kaito picked up his other Tonfa and aimed for its chest

In the Spec's eyes, it saw a thunderstorm, "Be gone!" Kaito bellowed, his Tonfa slicing through the air with deadly precision.

With an explosion of lightning energy, Kaito sliced the chest immediately the Tonfa hit the neck obliterating its core, and it turned to ash

Kaito fell to the ground
