Eventually, as the sun began to set, I realized that I should probably head home. Reluctantly, I stood up from the bed, but Raven reached out and grabbed my hand.

"Stay a little longer," she pleaded, her eyes pleading.

I smiled at her. "I wish I could, but I really should get going. My moms will be worried if I'm out too late."

Raven pouted, but she didn't argue. Instead, she leaned forward and pressed her lips to mine in a gentle kiss. It was soft and sweet, full of unspoken affection and gratitude.

When we finally pulled away, Raven looked up at me, her eyes sparkling with emotion. "Thank you for taking care of me," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

I brushed a strand of hair away from her face. "Anytime," I replied, my voice filled with sincerity.

Reluctantly, I let go of Raven's hand and made my way to the door. Before I left, I turned back to look at her one last time. "Get some rest," I said, giving her a reassuring smile.
