I'm not originally from this world

The air in our home felt electric with relief and joy. Raven and I had faced unimaginable dangers and emerged victorious, but now, standing in our familiar surroundings, the weight of what we had accomplished began to settle. We were home, truly home, and for the first time in a long while, a sense of peace enveloped us.

Raven turned to me, her eyes reflecting the love and determination that had carried us through our trials. "Jade," she whispered, her voice soft but filled with emotion, "we did it."

I smiled, tears of happiness welling in my eyes. "We did," I replied, reaching up to gently cup her face. "I couldn't have done this without you."

She leaned into my touch, her eyes closing briefly as she savored the moment. "And I couldn't have done it without you."
