Chapter 80: Light Hunting

"Alright Freya, I'll be counting on you now. You can use any skill, but you're not allowed to use [Divine Insight] and don't try summoning Lumina," Jett said, with a playful tone as he prepared to face the approaching threat.

As the creature lunged at them from the shadows, Jett swiftly intercepted it. The monster was a goblin, but not just any goblin. It was particularly feisty, its green skin mottled with dark patches, and its beady eyes glowed with an unsettling red light.

Freya could tell immediately that this goblin was far from normal: it exuded an aura of malevolence that hinted at more than just a typical dungeon pest.

Freya's initial surprise at being tasked with hunting monsters had left her distracted, but as the goblin bared its sharp teeth and charged, she began to feel an unsettling change in the atmosphere.

The dungeon seemed to hum with a dark energy that pressed against her senses, making her skin crawl.
