Chapter 84: Late Night Hunt

Asher had sensed someone spying on them for some time, but he had initially chosen to ignore it. However, as the incidents grew more frequent, his patience wore thin. By now, he was fed up with the whole thing but when he tried to act he still lost his prey.

 

"You better pray I don't find you," Asher muttered, his eyes narrowing as he faced the direction where he sensed the mana had been transmitted from the teacher's quarters.

In Asher and Rey's room:

 

"And you're sure you saw what you saw?" Rey asked, tossing a ball into the air while lying on his bed.

 

"I know what I saw," Asher replied firmly, pacing through the room. "It definitely came from the teacher's quarters. The whole thing was suspicious."
