Chapter 88: Trial 3

Gwendolyn who was coincidentally the Academy's magic instructor for the first years, had always prided herself on her keen sense of her students' potential.

Most of them were eager to cast spells and unleash power, but few cared about the intricate foundations that made those spells possible.

She was however, pleasantly surprised when Jett, who she had previously overlooked as not worth the time, approached her after class one day.

Jett had seemed like one of the many competent, but not exceptional. However, when he expressed genuine interest in the intricacies of magic, her perception of him began to shift.

His questions were advanced, delving into theories and principles that most students didn't even think to ask about.

It wasn't just about casting spells for him; it was about understanding the very essence of magic.
