Paranoid

"Moon goddess, I'm already having a tough time, why is this happening now? I know it's my fault that the wolf died but I have already asked for forgiveness. I can spend my entire life asking for forgiveness but I don't want to be tortured by its spirit." She muttered under her breath as Elias, the new teacher taught the class.

"Bestie, you're sweating! You look like you're seeing a ghost? Are you okay?" Katie asked her.

"It's like I'm actually seeing a vengeful ghost in our new teacher..." She whispered to her.

"Don't be ridiculous. You actually don't understand what you're seeing. You're definitely seeing love, love, love in that handsome body. You aren't just recognizing it since it hasn't ever happened to you." Katie replied her, half seriously, half jokingly.

"Now, you're being ridiculous. Wake up from your slumber, girl." She pinched her friend playfully.

Due to werewolf's enhanced hearing, Elias could hear the whispers clearly. He glanced at the two ladies and his eyes met with Aurora's. Her heart skipped a beat again and she looked away, immediately.

"This class is going to be tough. I pray I survive it." She muttered and looked everywhere else apart from his direction, wondering how she'd get through the class.

Meanwhile, Dante who was just discharged from the clinic, was at home and couldn't resume school like others.

"Be careful, sir. The doctor said your legs would take a week before they heal, that's even thanks to werewolf abilities. So, don't stress yourself at all. Let me help you, sir." Ms Collins said to Dante as he wanted to alight from the car. They just drove into his big stand-alone apartment. She was the head of the maids in his house.

"Leave me alone. Have I suddenly become a helpless case you must attend to? Don't touch me with those filthy hands of yours." He snapped at her, irritatedly.

"Where is my father? Shouldn't he be here for me today? Well, I guess his numerous businesses and duties are more important than me." He fumed.

Ms Collins kept quiet as she knew how his temper was. She didn't want him to go aggressive on her.

He entered the master bedroom that he used and gave the standing mirror a hard punch. He became more furious as he saw how his legs were in plaster cast, in the mirror.

The mirror was shattered and his fist was covered in blood.

He scrunched up his handsome face in disgust as he thought of how he became like that.

"Aurora!!!" He yelled.

"That good for nothing girl! Last time, it was a broken nose and this time, it was broken legs. How dare that alien?" He asked his reflection in the broken mirror, furiously.

"What has become of you, Dante? A mere alien messing you up like that? What has become of you? A mere girl who is more like an ordinary human is messing up with you, the alpha's heir with alpha's blood and strength? How is that plausible?" He yelled and punched the wall.

"She's in no position to harm us, that reckless rogue of a wolf helped her this time around. We should find him and rip him apart." His wolf said in his head.

"Yes, we need to find that son of a gun and deal with him. That rogue has some nerves. He even escaped from our holding cell and out of shame, we had to lie that we have killed him for his crime. He isn't an ordinary wolf." He talked back to his wolf.

"Whether ordinary or not, we're going to find him, crush him and make him regret ever interfering in what's none of his business." His wolf growled. It was as cocky as Dante, if not more.

Dante concurred but was still furious.

At that moment, he smelled that a wolf of lower ranking was in the area with him.

"Show yourself right away, servant!" He bellowed, suddenly feeling excited. He was actually in need of someone to transfer his aggression to.

Beatrice, an omega, the wolf with the lowest rank in the pack, and a servant in his apartment happened to be cleaning his bathroom before he came in. She was done cleaning but was afraid to cross his path and would rather wait till he left the room before going out of the bathroom. But when he commanded her to show herself, she was forced to walk out of the bathroom.

"Forgive me sir. I didn't want to show my face around you and anger you more. I'm very sorry, sir." She pleaded.

"You should have found a way to disappear into thin air then and not let me smell you. Now, come here, you pathetic weakling!" He commanded.

Beatrice walked fearfully towards him and he grabbed her by the neck.

"You people need to learn to respect me better. I have to teach you, all that I'm the future alpha. I'm not an ordinary wolf that a mere girl can be trampling upon because of some twisted luck. I'm not an ordinary wolf that a rogue can just come and deal with, then go scotfree. Nobody should disrespect me and go scotfree. Nobody!" He yelled as he started strangling her.

"I... I... I... am... sor.. sorry, sirrrr! Fo...forgive.. me.. sirr." Beatrice stuttered. She was in pain.

"Just die, bitch! Just die, Aurora! I can only stop hating you when you die so die already, Aurora!" He said and kept strangling her. His befuddled mind was seeing Aurora's face in the innocent girl.

"Am I just going to die here over what I know nothing about? Why should I die because of Aurora?" Beatrice wondered inwardly as she struggled to breathe under his tight grip.

"I hope for a miracle to get saved. I don't want to die yet. But if I die, I'm going to haunt Aurora who is forcing her fate on me." She swore as she started turning pale.
