Your World

Saori and I climbed into the carriage, and the man driving the carriage began to whip the horses' reins, and we started walking.

It was the first time I had ridden in a carriage controlled by Dullahan where either the driver or the horses were headless.

"Pull yourself together, Ichika; we can get to the capital without a hitch... in the meantime, let's have some fun."

I looked at Saori, who had finished two bottles of wine instantly; I didn't drink, so I just stared at the bright red sun.

"Is the sky always orange here?"

"It must be very different from the one in your world, but the sky used to be blue here."

"Just like in the human world?" I said spontaneously.

"So in the world of blue surfaces apparently... this is the first time I've heard that."

"Then why is the sky orange now?"

"I don't know... almost everyone is used to it, so none of us learnt about it, but I'm sure there's a book that explains it if we go to the palace."
