Two People

The following day we both took jobs at an agency, there was no guild here, and most of them got their jobs from this place.

"For two people."

"What kind of job do you want?" asked the old lady.

"An easy one."

"Let's see... there are mining jobs around this town; you can join there."

"Can women work in such a place?" I asked.

"Of course, men and women can mine."

"Then, we'll take this."

I just followed Saori to the mine in question, a large cave; some people had come out and deposited with the party in charge.

They were collecting purple rocks.

Saori explained, "This stone is called a mineral crystal stone... we collect this for city lighting, hot springs and other things."

"What a precious stone."

"We've got permission, so follow me."

I followed Saori to a cave that seemed to have low-quality stones. Some people didn't mine here but mined in a different cave. When I asked Saori about it, she shook her head.
