Clash on the beach

ITS FINALLY HERE

LEMME KNOW WHAT YALL THINK

—————————————————

"Champagne, I'll help you at once!" Pearl yelled and began tending to his wounds.

"Haha, Pearl stop, that tickles!" Champagne let out a chuckle and squirmed around. "Stay still my diamond-! I-i mean Champagne!" Pearl yelled anxiously then had a shocked expression and paused. "Why would you call me that?" Champagne asked while grabbing Pearl's wrist.

Pearl jolted back and covered her mouth and walked backwards. "I-I didn't say 'my diamond' I said Champagne!" She panicked and began fidgeting with her fingers. She genuinely didn't know why.

Champagne pushed himself up slowly, eyeing Pearl with curiosity. "Well if you didn't mean to say it, why do you look so rattled now?"

She covered her mouth and shook her head. "Jeez you're weird," champagne muttered then looked at the water. "Where did that thing come from?"

All of a sudden, a beam of light descended on what looked like a temple in the distance. Three women appeared in the sand and approached the two. They moved with an eerie grace, their forms shimmering slightly in the fading sunlight.

The first woman, tall and imposing with a stern expression, wore a flowing blue gown. Her eyes locked onto Champagne with an intensity that made him shiver.

The second, smaller and more delicate, had pinkish hues in her attire and a gentle smile that didn't reach her eyes. She glanced at Pearl, then at Champagne, as if trying to remember something long forgotten.

The third woman, with an air of authority and a commanding presence, wore white and gold robes that seemed to radiate light. She stopped a few feet away and spoke with a voice that resonated like a bell.

"It's true, Champagne diamond really did create offspring before he was shattered." she said, her gaze piercing, "Hello, we've come to destroy you."

Champagne's heart raced. "Destroy me? Who are you?"

The woman in white and gold stepped forward, her eyes narrowing. "We are the Enforcers of the Diamond Authority. He was a threat once and it seems his creation poses an even greater risk. We cannot allow you to exist."

Pearl stepped in front of Champagne, her eyes wide with fear and determination. "You can't just destroy him! He's not a threat!" She cried and pulled out a rapier from her chest. The weapon shimmered in the fading light, its blade slender and sharp.

Champagne stood behind her in confusion. "What is happening right now?!"

The woman in blue raised an eyebrow, her voice cold. "Pearl, you are making a grave mistake. Step aside."

Pearl tightened her grip on the rapier, her stance firm. "No! I made a promise to my diamond to protect his offspring!"

The woman in pink sighed, her expression a mix of regret and resolve. "Very well, if you choose to stand in our way, you will share his fate."

Before Pearl could react, the three women moved with lightning speed. The woman in white and gold summoned a staff, its tip glowing with energy. The woman in blue conjured a large, crystalline hammer, while the woman in pink brandished a pair of elegant daggers.

Pearl parried the first strike from the staff with her rapier, the force of the blow sending a shockwave through the sand. She spun and deflected the hammer's swing, her movements fluid and precise. The daggers, however, were too quick, and one grazed her arm, drawing a thin line of light.

Champagne watched in awe and terror as Pearl fought fiercely, her skills unmatched. "Pearl, we have to get out of here!"

Pearl glanced back at him, determination burning in her eyes. "Champagne, remember your power! You have to unlock it!"

He looked at her, panic and confusion warring within him. "But I don't know how!"

The woman in blue lunged again, and Pearl barely managed to deflect her attack. "Focus, Champagne!"

Champagne reacted instinctively. He dashed in front of Pearl just as the woman in blue threw a powerful punch. Champagne intercepted the blow with his own fist. The impact created a shockwave, sending ripples through the air and causing the sand beneath them to shift.

The woman in blue staggered back, surprise flickering across her face. She glanced at her hand, seemingly astonished by the force of Champagne's counterattack. "Impossible…he's just like the pink diamond offspring!"

Champagne stood his ground, his expression fierce yet focused. His closed eye shimmered with the champagne-colored diamond glow, pulsing with newfound strength. "Pearl, when this is over, you'd better explain everything."

Pearl stood behind him, her eyes wide with awe and gratitude. She tightened her grip on the rapier, ready to defend Champagne if needed.

The woman in white and gold narrowed her eyes, assessing the situation. "This changes things. He's more like him than we anticipated."

The woman in pink twirled her daggers, a calculating look in her eyes. "We can't underestimate him."

The three women exchanged a brief glance, wordlessly communicating their next move. Without warning, they launched a coordinated assault, attacking Champagne and Pearl with precise strikes and elemental bursts.

Champagne and Pearl fought back valiantly, their movements synchronized as if they could anticipate each other's actions. Champagne used his newfound abilities to create barriers of energy, deflecting attacks and buying them precious moments to counterattack.

Pearl's rapier danced through the air, striking with pinpoint accuracy. She parried and countered with grace, her combat skills honed through years of training and dedication.

The battle raged on, the clash of weapons and bursts of energy echoing across the beach. Each moment tested Champagne and Pearl's resolve, pushing them to their limits.

With a coordinated strike, the Enforcers unleashed a barrage of elemental attacks that overwhelmed Champagne and Pearl. Waves of energy crashed against their defenses, knocking them back with tremendous force. Champagne gritted his teeth, feeling the impact reverberate through his body as he struggled to remain standing.

Pearl staggered, her rapier wavering for a moment before she regained her footing. She looked at Champagne, determination blazing in her eyes even as she felt the weight of their adversaries' power bearing down on them.

Just when it seemed they could hold on no longer, a bright light erupted from the sky above. The Enforcers paused, glancing upward with surprise and concern etched on their faces.

From the light emerged Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl - the Crystal Gems. Garnet, with her stoic demeanor and powerful gauntlets, took a defensive stance in front of Champagne and Pearl. Amethyst, exuding a relaxed yet confident aura, cracked her knuckles and grinned mischievously at the Enforcers.

Upon seeing the Crystal Gems, Champagne's eye began to flicker with an intense glow, its champagne-colored brilliance pulsating erratically. Suddenly, as if overwhelmed by a surge of power or memory, both of his eyes abruptly closed, and he slumped forward unconscious.

Moments later, Champagne stirred, consciousness returning in a haze. He found himself in a cozy house, the gentle warmth of a fireplace casting flickering shadows across the room. His body lay on a comfortable couch, his head cradled in Champagnes Pearl's lap. Her fingers gently brushed through his wild afro, a gesture of reassurance and care.

As Champagne's eyes adjusted to the soft light, he realized the Crystal Gems were seated across from him. Garnet's visor glinted in the firelight, Amethyst reclined casually with a mischievous grin, and Rose's Pearl sat beside them, her demeanor serene and poised.

Champagne sat up slowly, the events on the beach still fresh in his mind. He glanced around the room, taking in the familiar faces of his friends and allies. "Where… where are we?" he asked, his voice hoarse from battle and fatigue.

Champagnes Pearl smiled softly, her eyes reflecting a mixture of worry and relief. "They brought you here after the battle."

Garnet leaned forward, her voice steady and calm. "You pushed yourself beyond your limits out there. It was a close call."

Champagne rubbed his temples, trying to piece together the events that led him here. "I… I remember fighting the Enforcers. But then everything went dark."

Amethyst chuckled, her tone light but tinged with concern. "Yeah, you passed out cold. Scared us for a minute there."

Rose's Pearl nodded gently, her voice calm and reassuring. "You faced a formidable challenge. The Enforcers are relentless."

Champagne looked down at his hands, feeling a mix of pride and uncertainty. "Thanks, but… I still don't understand everything. Who were those women? And why did they come after us?"

Garnet's visor shimmered, reflecting the dancing flames. "They serve the Diamond Authority. Your Pearl was going to explain everything to us when you woke up."

Champagne Pearl sighed and leaned forward. "Champagne, your…father? Was a gem, a diamond, to be exact. He was created after pink diamond ran away, so you wouldn't know anything about him, crystal gems. The diamonds made him,  to be Pink Diamond's replacement. One of his powers was he had the ability to manipulate gems. He led an army and posed a threat to the Diamond Authority. They feared his potential and the creations you made from shattered gems."

Champagne ran a hand through his afro, trying to comprehend the weight of his history. Champagne Pearl sighed then continued. "He found out their plans to shatter him and he came to me. He told me that he was going to create a gem that was powerful enough to finish his plans. He created the gem but for some reason it formed into a baby;  but he still put half of his power into the baby. He was shattered, I came to earth with you, in fear of being caught by the diamonds."

Champagne took in the revelation, his mind reeling with newfound understanding of his origins and the legacy he carried. "So… I'm that gem. The one he put his power into."

Rose's Pearl spoke gently, her voice filled with empathy. "Yes, Champagne. You are his legacy, his hope for the future."

Champagne closed his eyes, processing the weight of his father's sacrifice and the burden now placed upon him. "But why come after me now? After all this time?"

Garnet leaned forward, her voice steady and reassuring. "You must've activated your powers before they came."

As Garnet spoke, Champagne's mind flashed back to the intense battle on the beach, the raw power surging through him as he confronted the snake-like creature. He remembered the moment when his eye had glowed with a radiant light, and he had unleashed an unseen force against the threat.

Champagne nodded slowly, pieces of his fragmented memories starting to align. "I… I remember something. When I fought that creature, there was a moment when everything clicked into place. It felt like… like I knew what to do."

Amethyst chuckled, leaning back comfortably. "Yeah, you sure showed that monster who's boss!"

Champagne managed a weak smile, grateful for Amethyst's attempt to lighten the mood. But the weight of his ignorance and the gravity of his situation bore down on him. "But still, I don't even know what gems are. Or how I fit into all of this."

Rose's Pearl shifted closer, her demeanor gentle and reassuring. "Gems are beings created by the Diamond Authority, each possessing unique abilities and purposes. They serve different roles, from warriors to builders, and each gem has its own strengths."

Champagne furrowed his brow, trying to grasp the concept. "So… I'm like a gem, but I'm also human?"

Champagnes Pearl nodded thoughtfully. "Yes, you're a unique fusion of gem and human attributes. Your powers, your abilities—they come from your gem side, but your humanity gives you something more."

Garnet's visor gleamed with understanding. "You're a bridge between two worlds, Champagne. That's what makes you so powerful, and why the Diamond Authority fears you."

Champagne absorbed their words, the weight of his identity and his newfound responsibilities settling upon his shoulders. "I… I have a lot to learn. About myself, about my powers."

Champagnes Pearl placed a reassuring hand on his arm. "You don't have to figure it all out alone, Champagne. We're here to help you, every step of the way."

Amethyst reclined in the seat more and groaned. "If only Steven was here to help you understand."

Champagne picked his head up in confusion. "Steven? I heard of him, but who is he?"

Rose's Pearl leaned forward, her eyes softening with empathy. "Steven is a remarkable gem-human hybrid. He's the son of Pink Diamond and a human named Greg Universe. Steven possesses unique abilities, and he has played a pivotal role in bringing peace between gems and humans."

Champagne listened intently, absorbing this new piece of information. "So, he's like me… a fusion of gem and human?"

Garnet nodded, her visor reflecting the flickering firelight. "Yes, but Steven's journey has been different from yours. He's faced many challenges and made profound discoveries about himself and his heritage."

Champagne's eyes widened with curiosity. "What kind of challenges did he face?"

Amethyst chuckled softly. "Oh, where do we start? He's dealt with gem politics, intergalactic threats, and even faced the Diamonds themselves. But through it all, he's always been determined to find a peaceful solution."

Champagne marveled at the thought. "Sounds like he's been through a lot."

Rose Pearl nodded. "Indeed. Steven's experiences have shaped him into a compassionate leader and a beacon of hope for both gems and humans."

Champagne sat back, contemplating the similarities and differences between himself and Steven. "I wonder if I could ever be like him."

Amethyst chuckled and then realized something and looked at the two pearls. "This will be really confusing in the future, so, Champagne's Pearl, what should we call you instead?"

Luster smiled warmly, her eyes reflecting the flickering firelight. "You can call me Luster."

Champagne nodded in agreement. "Luster… I like that."

Rose's Pearl nodded thoughtfully. "Luster it is, then."

Garnet's visor shimmered as she nodded. "Luster. A fitting name."

Amethyst grinned mischievously. "Cool, Luster it is! Welcome to the team."
