After the news had gotten out that a sorcerer had appeared to challenge Satoru Gojo, albeit for a short time, caused the curse user underworld to go into a frenzy.
They searched high and low for his body or any semblance of his remains. But some still believed that he was alive. There was no way a sorcerer of that caliber could die so easily.
Years passed, and stories of his exploits eventually died down, along with the enthusiasm of the curse users who wanted to find him. Overtime, he became more of a myth to most while others started to believe that he never even existed in the first place.
After all, other than the scene of destruction left in front of the Time Vessel Association and word of mouth, there was no solid evidence that he existed.
That being said, time moved on without him. Ten years passed since the day of the battle between Jin and Gojo, and the world had already forgotten that event.
Everything returned to 'normal.'
In a buddhist temple somewhere in the city of Tokyo, two women could be seen walking down the hallway. Judging by their clothing, they weren't part of the temple, but instead, visitors.
Their expressions showed anxiety, uncertainty and even a bit of fear.
"I think it's this one."
One of them motioned towards a large double door at the end of the hallway.
After knocking on the door, the duo slowly pushed it open and peaked their heads inside, revealing three people sitting on cushions at the helm of the room.
The man in the middle had a warm smile on his face as he said, "Welcome. What troubles you today?"
Tears ran down their faces as the women sat down and started telling the trio about their issues.
It seems that both of the women had pain that ran through their entire bodies at night. It would start from their shoulders and go down, riddling them terrible pain for hours.
Because of this, they hadn't had a good night's sleep in weeks. Visits to the hospital didn't help at all, and they were at their wits end in how to deal with the matter.
That's when they heard of a buddhist temple that specialized in dealing with matters such as this from an online forum filled with people who also experienced the same thing.
"I see. Then, you've come to the right place."
With a wave of his hand, a grotesque creature flew off off each of their shoulders, flying into the man's palms as he absorbed them into a black ball.
Of course, the two women were unable to see the cursed spirits.
"And it's done. Your pain will be no more."
The women were surprised. Just like that? This man had to be a fraud. It looked like he just waved his hand. But...
"Still...you felt it too right? As if a weight was removed from your shoulders."
The other woman nodded, agreeing with her friend.
The man knew exactly what they were thinking. He's had the exact same looks of doubt from hundreds of people before them.
"No worries, you will be able to sleep well tonight. If not, then I will compensate you myself."
The women glanced at each other before slightly nodding, agreeing with what the man said.
Out of the trio, a woman draped in a red dress and a scarf around her neck, got up and escorted the two women out of the temple.
As soon as they left the room, the man who 'healed' the women glanced at the man on his right and said, "Any day now, my friend. My plan has almost reached its conclusion."
The man who he glanced at was sitting down, leaning back against the wall with his eyes pointed up to the sky.
He wore a skin tight high collar black shirt, blue sports baggy training pants and black martial arts slippers complete with a long blue robe tied with a long thick black belt around the waist.
The front of his black messy hair draped down to his chin, while the rest of it was tied in a ponytail which extended down to his back.
His glowing orange eyes slowly dropped down towards the man who spoke earlier, a small smile appearing on his face as he did so.
"Since we discovered that Okkotsu kid, you've been itching for a fight, Geto. I don't blame you though. Things have been peaceful for too long. It's time for us to make an appearance in this world once more."
Geto swallowed the cursed spirit and broke out in a fit of laughter as he stood up from his cushion.
At the same time, the woman who had left to escort the others out of the room returned, raising an eyebrow as she saw Geto having the time of his life.
"What's gotten into you, Master Geto?"
Geto wiped his tears as he slowly calmed down from his fit, his expression regaining an air of serenity.
"You're right, Jin. Things have been peaceful for too long. I've given these monkeys enough time to live. Now, it's time for a reckoning."
Geto glanced at the woman and shouted excitedly, "Manami! Call our family and tell them it's time for us to see each other again! It's been a long time!"
Manami smiled as she bowed and quickly left the room, on her way to bring the rest of the family to the temple.
Now that they were alone and Geto was a bit calmer, he got into what he really wanted to say.
Without turning around, he said, "Jin, how long are you going to maintain your 'death'? The jujutsu world would go into chaos if the right people knew you were still alive. Right now, chaos is what we need."
Jin knew he was right. He couldn't keep maintaining this stance of secrecy for too long. After all, he had a mission to complete.
A mission that Geto's paltry ambitions of erasing the "monkeys" couldn't even compare to.
But regardless, Geto was right.
'I've spent too long in this world. Within the next two years, I will be done here. Right now, the only people who can stand against me are the special grade sorcerers. Well, mostly Satoru Gojo. I could handle everyone else.'
Jin got up from his seat and walked past Geto, heading to the doors.
"Then, let's go. It's time that Jin Itadori made another appearance in this world. This time, I'm here to stay."
An excited smile appeared on Geto's face as he followed along, ready to enact his plan with Jin as a core part of it. With him as a family, even Gojo couldn't stop them.
The two of them went downstairs to a larger room with a few couches within and sat down, waiting for the rest of the family.
They had some casual conversation as they waited, with Jin "unintentionally" revealing a few things about one of his plans for the future.
"Whats with your sudden interest in the Zenin Clan? I know they have a wealth of knowledge about sorcery that would be useful, but...it sounds like you have something else in store."
Jin laid his head atop his palm as he calmly replied, "Well, I just like how they operate. Reminds me of how I did things when I was younger."
Geto raised an eyebrow as he tried to pry more into his plans, but Jin wasn't revealing much.
'Hm, I could never tell what this freak is thinking. It's a good thing that we managed to strike a deal or I might have perished all those years ago. But, when I gain control over Rika Orimoto, I wonder how things will turn out then?'
Geto chuckled and sat back in the couch, waiting for his family to arrive.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
"Master Geto!!"
A host of people entered the room as the voice a girl echoed through it.
Two girls in school uniforms ran up to Geto and greeted him, causing him to pat them on the head.
"Mimiko, Nanako, how have you been? Larue, Miguel, Toshihisa. I missed all of you."
The atmosphere was one of pure happiness as they hugged and greeted each other, excited that they were back together again.
But then, one of the girls pointed something out when she glanced across the room at the couch opposite Geto.
Nanako immediately pulled her phone out and pointed it at Jin, who was sitting there lazily looking at them with a small smile on his face.
"Who are you?! Master Geto, we have an intruder...wait...you were in the room talking with Master Geto when we came in here, right?..."
The place was silent as everyone's gaze shifted to her and Jin. Now, it was awkward.
She was so excited to see Geto that she blanked his guest out her mind and almost attacked him on sight.
It was embarrassing, to say the least.
Geto patted her on the head and said, "Thank you for protecting me. But this is someone I've been meaning to introduce you all to. He has contributed a lot to me over the years. In exchange, I taught him all I know about being a sorcerer. I hope you all will welcome him with open arms."
Nanako awkwardly put her phone away and gave a slight bow to Jin, saying, "I apologize, sir."
Everyone gave a slight, but hesitant greeting. They could sense something wrong about Jin. The feeling he gave off was....eerie.
"Eyes like the sun, but with cursed energy as dark as the corners of hell itself. The amount of cursed energy you have is something only a monster should possess. If I'm not mistaken, you should be Jin Itadori."
A man with darker complexion wearing stylish casual clothing said these words, surprising everyone around him.
Geto smiled as he said, "As sharp as ever, Miguel. You figured it out so fast."
Jin had no reaction to these words. After all, he had no intention of hiding anymore.
"Good eye. You figured me out already. But, what do you plan on doing now that you have that information?"
Miguel's body started to shake with excitement as he lowered his dark shades, causing his cursed energy to surge.
"It's simple! I want you to show me, no show us your strength! The power that it took to shake the jujutsu world all those years ago!"
BOOM!
The ground fissured and the temple shook as Jin released his own cursed energy, standing up from the couch in the process.
"Since you asked so nicely, I must oblige. Defend yourself well. If anyone else plans to stand against me with him, I would encourage you to do the same."
