Precursor.

When everyone heard his name, they instinctively twitched.

Toji Zenin?

The sorcerer killer?

How could he be alive? Satoru Gojo had killed him a decade ago?

But as Gojo got a good look at him with the Six Eyes, he realized that he wasn't quite right about his initial guess about his enemies identity.

Toji Zenin had a heavenly restricted body, which was both a blessing and a curse.

Normal people usually had cursed energy, however small it was, somewhere in their bodies.

Toji was different.

He had no cursed energy.

Not even the smallest bit.

But, in exchange, he had a superhuman body that was capable of incredible feats.

So, now that Gojo could see an enormous amount of cursed energy coursing through "Toji's" body, he knew that it couldn't be him.

'Wait...I know that feeling. The darkness that cursed energy emanates...it's different from before, but it's close enough that I know who it belongs to! I was right! He was still alive all this time! So his cursed technique allows him to switch bodies too?'

Gojo's eyes widened as this realization struck him, but he didn't say anything to anyone else. At least not for now. He didn't want Jin to know that he was on to him.

Unfortunately, things don't always go as planned.

The moment Jin saw Gojo's reaction, a look of satisfaction appeared on his face.

'Heh, he knows.'

Now that Gojo had figured that part out, there was no need to let things go on for much longer.

After all, there was much more important news to deliver.

Jin suddenly let go of Inumaki's neck, causing the boy's body to crumble to the ground as if he was dead.

The moment Gojo saw Inumaki leave Jin's hands, he rushed towards the latter with blinding speed in an effort to obliterate him right then and there.

Yuta Okkotsu, the girl with the glasses, and the panda weren't as quick on the uptake, but they also rushed forward soon after Gojo to rescue their friend.

Gojo knew they would do that, so all he had to do was seperate Inumaki from the enemy and he would be safe.

He was confident that he could handle everyone on the curse user side by himself, including Jin.

Jin's adrenaline rose rapidly as the prospect of another fight with Gojo was right in front of him.

WHOOSH!

He rushed forward in a streak of red light, easily matching Gojo's speed step for step.

In that moment, everything was in slow motion to Gojo and Jin.

At their level of speed, everyone else appeared as if they weren't even moving.

Just as the two monsters were about to clash, a sudden scream entered Gojo's ears.

He saw a cursed spirit that was able to summon skeletons appear behind the weaker students.

From the cursed energy that spirit was giving off, he could immediately tell that those students were no match for it.

Gojo couldn't allow his people to die like that while he could do something about it.

He immediately beelined toward them, causing Jin to stop. Although a bit disappointed, he knew whose plan this was.

"Calm down, my friend. The time to begin the war will be soon. Let them celebrate this small victory for now."

By small victory, he meant that in the time he could complete his sentence, Gojo had already defeated the cursed spirit and it's skeletons, rescuing the students.

Jin smiled as he saw this scene.

'That's right. He should be able to achieve this much. A special grade spirit torn asunder in less than a second huh? Heh.'

The more he saw of Gojo's power, the more he wanted to just forget about the plan and fight him right now.

But....

"It's time to do what we really came here for, my friend."

Geto stepped forward, dramatically opened his arms wide and shouted, "I've come here to declare war! On December 24th, one thousand cursed spirits each will be released in Shinjuku and Kyoto! Every non-sorcerer will be killed! I dare you to stop me! Let's see who's standing in the end!"

With that, Geto jumped on the bird, followed by Mimiko and Nanako.

Jin took one last look at everyone there and jumped on the bird, preparing to leave with Geto.

His eyes were on them, but his focus was on a specific person.

Inumaki.

As the boy struggled to open his eyes after Jin's terrible assault, if one was paying attention, they could see his irises flashing bright yellow for a brief moment before returning to normal.

A seemingly insignificant occurrence.

Even Inumaki himself didn't know.

But with this, a wide smile appeared on his face.

'It's always good to have a back up plan.'

The sorcerers watched apprehensively as the group left the school, not relaxing their guard until the bird was completely out of sight.

The moment that happened, Yuta and his friends grabbed Inumaki and took him to the infirmary as fast as they could. The rest of the weaker sorcerers were sent to patrol the school just in case more intruders were present.

In the end, the only left there were Gojo and an older man with dark shades, known as Principal Yaga.

Yaga glanced at Gojo and said while laying his hand on his shoulder, "You look worried, Satoru. If you're worried, then..."

Gojo's eyes never left the curse users, especially Jin, even though they were quite a distance away.

His 6 eyes allowed him to do so.

"Yaga, what if I told you that curse user with Suguru, was Jin Itadori?"

Yaga's grip tightened on Gojo's shoulder as he slowly took off his shades.

"Satoru...are you sure?"

Gojo re-covered his eyes with the bandages and stuck his hand in his pockets, a serious expression plastered across his face.

"I'm sure. That was him inhabiting the body of the now dead Toji Zenin. It seems that he also has a technique to change bodies. Yaga, relay what I'm about to tell you to every sorcerer on our side."

Yaga stood there quietly, ready to receive whatever directive Gojo was about to give.

"Jin Itadori is alive. He has taken over the body of Toji Zenin. Now this is the real important part. If you encounter Jin Itadori, run. If you have to fight, then assume that you're going to die. If you even spot him, try your best to get in contact with me, no matter the cost. Yaga, no one other than me can stop that monster."
