Reunited.(1)

"His name is Junpei? What makes him so important that you had me come along to see him?"

Jin and Mahito sauntered down the street that morning, moving through the crowded streets of Kawasaki City, heading towards the residential areas.

Jin garnered a lot of attention for his unique appearance, but people avoided him because of it. To them, Jin just looked like some sort of dangerous gang member.

"Well, as I said, it's a surprise. And before you ask, Sukuna's finger is still there, I haven't lost it...but, what would you do if I did?"

Jin glanced at Mahito and kept walking, ignoring his taunts. Mahito knew the answer to that question, as Jin had already gave a directive on what to do about the fingers the moment he learned about them.

"Focus all our attention on gathering the fingers, leave the sorcerers to me. That's what you said. Who made you the leader anyways?~"

Hands in the pockets of his black sweatpants, Jin had no expression as he heard Mahito asking these questions in his signature 'half serious-half joking' tone.

This wasn't the first time he heard this question from one of the cursed spirits. Most times Jogo was the one who wanted to try Jin's authority but he was hesitant for some reason.

Now it seemed that Mahito had been influenced by him.

Just as the duo arrived at a certain house in the residential area, Jin calmly said, "You all listen to me because you're not strong enough to disobey. Understand this, I tolerate all of you because I respect you cursed spirits to some degree. Your strength is impressive, your talents even more so."

Jin then faced Mahito, his expression rigid, his eyes cold.

"Don't mistake my tolerance for fear. Don't mistake my patience for weakness. This is my final warning."

The atmosphere was tense as veins started to appearing all over Jin's arms. His overwhelming cursed energy flared, causing small cracks to spread across the ground.

The more he saw Mahito not backing down, the more his rage built up inside him. If this continued any longer...

"Ha! Just kidding!~ You know I would never do that! Come on inside! Our depressed friend is waiting for us."

Mahito awkwardly laughed as he sauntered inside, leaving Jin staring at him from behind.

'Seems that since I've awoken from my seal, I've gotten too kind. Even my allies think that I'm some kind of punk. Right...right. I need to fix that notion. Before the 'Kill Gojo' plan gets in full effect, I'll have to clear some things up with everyone.'

Jin pushed this feeling of rage down and walked in the house behind Mahito, immediately catching the scent of blood the moment he got in the door.

Mahito went into a certain room while Jin stopped in the kitchen, looking down at the barely recognizable corpse on the floor.

"This must be the mother. Hm. Choso was right, she was indeed killed by a Cursed Spirit. A low grade one at that."

That wasn't the only thing. The woman felt so much despair when she died that Jin could still feel it within the room. Her soul wasn't put to rest properly. Her body was probably torn apart and eaten while she was still alive.

It was a horrendous scene.

But...it was an opportunity.

An idea sprang up within Jin's head as he looked at the corpse and remembered something he had learned from Kenjaku about cursed corpses.

That they could be created and would be completely obedient to the creator if one was successfully created. While Kenjaku did not know the secret to creating them, Jin was sure that he could figure it out.

But he never found the chance to do so.

Now that that incident with Mahito had happened, Jin realized that he had no ono who he could trust by his side.

Naoya, Toshihisa, Manami, Mimiko, Nanako, Kenjaku, especially the cursed spirits.

All of them would betray him in a heartbeat if it meant furthering their own goals.

Of course, he knew that was just the territory that came with 'allies' that lacked morality, but, it didn't change the fact that he really had no one on his side.

That's when the idea fully manifested itself within his head.

'She will be my first ally.'

Jin was a master of Sith Sorcery and the rituals he performed back in his glory days were legendary. From the days of the Ancient Sith, to the High Republic of the past universe, Jin's skill in Sith Sorcery was unmatched.

The only reason he 'died' in the end was...

"Tch. That's a memory for later. That thing...is a scourge on my mind. For now, I'll go with Mahito and handle that boy."

Jin dispersed his cursed energy over the corpse and left, entering the room with Mahito and the teen called Junpei.

The moment he entered, he saw the boy breaking down in tears, and Mahito showing him Sukuna's finger, saying that a human had cursed his family.

'Heh...Mahito you sly dog. So this is the route you're taking.'

At the sight of Jin, Junpei reflexively flinched as he instinctively got closer to Mahito, trying to hide himself behind the curse.

"There he is! Junpei, meet my boss, Jin! Jin, meet my friend, Junpei!"

Immediately, Jin gave a slight bow, saying, "It's a shame that your mother died this way. My condolences. To think that someone really cursed you."

Junpei, seeing that Jin meant no harm, started breaking down in tears again when he heard this. But, one could see that his sad expression was quickly being replaced by a look of sheer wrath.

"Mr. Jin, Mr. Mahito, please, tell me what I have to do to take revenge on those who wronged me."

Junpei fell to this knees as he pleaded with them, hoping that they would give him a way out.

"No, no, no! Don't kneel, Junpei! Friends don't treat each other that way!"

Mahito quickly caught Junpei by his shoulders and pulled him up, giving him a hug of comfort.

"Jin, what do you say, let's give him the power to control his own life and protect himself!"

Mahito was playing this role expertly. He didn't miss a beat.

"Of course. Who am I to deny you that right, Junpei? Mahito, take him to an appropriate place and give him the power he needs."

Mahito wasted no time in leading Junpei out of the room, to a quieter place.

"Make sure you pay respects to your dear mother before you leave."

Jin could hear Mahito telling Junpei this as they walked past him in the doorway.

'Had Mahito been born in a different time, he would've been a good sith.'

Junpei grabbed some clothes from his mothers wardrobe and left with Mahito after bowing to her, ignorantly leaving Jin behind in the house.

Of course, this was the perfect time for Jin to enact this idea about cursed corpses.

The man walked back into the kitchen and sat there for a few moments, pondering the solution to his problem.

"Well...let's begin. The creation of my first cursed corpse...heh."
