Soul weapon

"You shall not leave until I want you to." The old voice stated,

After hesitating a bit, Keiren sat down and told the voice

"I am ready."

Finding himself teleport behind the throne, he realised that something was written on the back of this ancient chair. It was a breathing technique he had to follow to awaken his soul weapon. The boy's eyes jumped. The sole reason he had decided to give up his life and and jump into the sea was because he was unable to awaken a soul weapon!

He tried to follow the breathing method but puked blood right after. Keiren started coughing heavily as he felt his head pain.

"I can't do this-" He said weakly, still holding onto his head. "It pains too much!"

"Do you think this is a joke, boy? Don't think I will be soft on you just because you are a kid." A gruff voice screamed into his ears, making his head pain even more.

Keiren felt his eyes getting moist, he wanted to cry.

'To what extent has the world spirit fallen for it to reincarnate that man into something like this?' The invisible figure mused as it thought of an alternative.

'Ughh, my energy will deplete but it's not like I have another option.'

The voice asked the boy to start exercising the breathing pattern again which he agreed to do. Albeit hesitantly after being told that he would not feel the pain this time.

As he started, he felt a soothing energy relieve the pain in his head. He learned that what he was doing right now was trying to absorb the mana in the air. This was something he had never heard of.

This technique stated that without having an enough amount of mana in our body, the individual can never awaken their soul weapon.

A soul weapon is the shape of one's soul that is formed or materialised according to the person's personality after they reach a certain age.

A gush of wind revolved around Aman's body and started absorbing into him, he didn't stop and continued the process for what felt eternity.

9 days later,

"Boom!"

"HAHAHA! I finally materialised my soul weapon. It's time for me to leave." A boy said with a wide grin on his face.

"Who said that you can leave?"

Hearing the calm old voice in his ear, beads of sweat trickled down Keiren's cheek. He tried escaping the hall but the results were the same.

He lay down on the cold, stony floor, exhausted as he heard the voice he was so annoyed by again.

"There will be a few dozen orbs next that you have to touch!"

"Is that all? HAHAHA, I agree," The boy said in a restless tone.

He placed his hand on the first orb. Just as his fingers touched it, the orb started glowing.

He did the same thing a few dozen times and understood that only 2 of those orbs glowed when he touched them.

After he completed the whole process, the voice started laughing like a madman.

"Finally, I found him!"

Keiren felt something on his head and instinctively reached up, his fingers closing around a cool, solid object. Bringing it down to examine, he found himself holding an obsidian crown, now adorned with two additional stones on either side. Its surface was smooth and polished to a mirror-like finish, capturing and reflecting the dim light in the room, creating an ethereal, otherworldly glow. The crown was intricate, with delicate, swirling patterns etched into the obsidian, adding a sense of ancient mystique and regal authority.

Embedded within the crown were three remarkable stones, each positioned at the front in a triangular formation. The first stone was a deep sapphire blue, its surface shimmering with flecks of silver that seemed to dance and shift within its depths. The second stone was a vibrant emerald green, radiating a soothing yet powerful energy, its facets catching the light in a mesmerizing display of brilliance. The third stone was a fiery ruby red, pulsing with an intense inner glow, as if holding a living flame within its crystalline heart.

These three stones were set in ornate, claw-like settings that held them securely in place while allowing their full beauty to be displayed. Together, the obsidian crown and its embedded stones exuded an aura of power and mystery, a symbol of supreme authority and timeless elegance.

Just before he could say anything, the voice cut his words short

"It's time for you to leave, although you won't remember anything; the seals put on your soul have finally been released."

"What do you mean? Which are these seals you speak of? " before he could even react, Keiren lost consciousness.

It was 5 in the morning; a boy was sleeping soundly when the alarm started ringing. Keiren sprang up from his bed and closed the alarm. However, before he could doze off again, a gush of memories made him sober.

"Was this all a dream!?!" Exclaimed the boy.

"Didn't I just die while drowning in the sea?" That was the first question he asked himself-

He lifted his tired body up and sat on the bed with the support of some pillows. Shifting his gaze to the watch on his wrist, a blue screen popped out of it.

"[ TIME: 05:45 am ]

 21st April, Year 0103"

Black lines could be seen on the boy's face.

"Can't a person even die in peace?!?" He exclaimed, his voice echoing with frustration. "When I was small, my mom used to tell me that when a person dies, he returns to the cycle of reincarnation.

Then how on Earth have I returned to the day I died?!"
