Fay returned to the funeral room, at the same time Seth was making his way out.
They stopped right in front of each other, as Seth doubled back.
"Hey you, I was going to search for you. Are you okay, Fay?" he asked, as his eyes lit up with concern.
"Me?" she touched her chest. "I'm fine, of course. Totally fine," she nodded, hoping she was selling her lies.
"Are you sure? You know it's okay if you choose to leave, right? Everyone would understand."
"Yeah, actually about that. I'm going to leave with Dream soon. But it's not going to be to the house," she mustered enough courage to say at once.
"Really? Where would you go then? The Atticus'?"
"Nope. I can't tell you that without having to explain a whole lot of things, and frankly, there isn't much time to do any explanation. Could you please just trust me?" She reached out for his hands, as her eyes sent him a desperate look.
