The bell in the villa chimed in the middle of Ace's discussion with Landon, and they stopped talking.

Exchanging glances, before looking towards the living room, they waited.

Cam, who was in charge of vetting out who could go in or come out, opened the door, and Cade stepped in.

"I think he opened the door," Landon said.

Ace was already on his way to the living room.

When Cade's gaze fell on Ace just as he entered the living room, his breath quickened.

"Sir Ace?" He called, his voice filled with shock.

"Hello, Cade. Did you bring the things Cam asked you to bring for Fay, and Dream?"

Still in shock, he tapped the bag he was holding.

When he was asked to escort Seth to the beach house, and not Fay, he had wondered what was happening.

As much as he wanted to question the decision, because his job description was protecting Fay, he knew it was pointless.
