Title - Metal hunting
...
{The metals that could potentially be used to create the specified systems in an FTL machine.}
Vibranium, known for its ability to absorb and redirect energy, could be used in the construction of the hull integrity system to enhance durability and provide protection against external threats.
Adamantium, known for its indestructibility, adamantium could be utilized in key structural components of the propulsion system and warp field generator to ensure stability and withstand the extreme conditions of FTL travel.
Uru. Possesses magical properties and immense strength. It could be incorporated into the construction of the shield system to create powerful defensive barriers capable of deflecting projectiles and energy attacks.
Promethium, known for its versatility and durability, promethium could be employed in the fabrication of various components, including the navigation system and quantum entanglement communication array, to enhance functionality and reliability.
Secondary Adamantium, a variation of adamantium with slightly lesser properties, secondary adamantium could be utilized in the construction of secondary systems and components to provide additional reinforcement and structural support.
Antarctic Vibranium (Anti-Metal), possessing properties opposite to those of regular vibranium, Antarctic vibranium could be used in specialized systems such as the emergency warp core ejection system to neutralize and dissipate excess energy in emergency situations.
Plandarium, a rare metal with unique properties, could be integrated into the quantum field manipulator system to enhance its ability to manipulate subspace and create stable warp corridors for FTL travel.
Carbonadium, a cousin to adamantium, carbonadium is more malleable and less durable but possesses similar energy-absorption capabilities. It could be used in the construction of certain components where flexibility and energy absorption are required, such as the warp field generator.
{Unfortunately Sir, you're currently incapable of Creating any of these Metals using Matter or Molecular Manipulation.}
"Hmm. I see. Then where can they be found?" Leucadius asked with a bit of regret. However, he didn't believe he could create more of them after studying them a bit. All he needed to do now was to find them first.
{Vibranium together with Anti-metal can be found primarily on the planet. Adamantium can be created through a process involving vibranium, steel, and other components.
Uru is mined from the realm of Asgard, specifically from the mystical ore deposits located within the realm's mountains. Promethium is found in small quantities on Earth, particularly beneath the Olympus Mountain.
The source of Plandarium is unknown but from the records I've come across from this digital space, it can be mined from the core of a dead planet.
Proto-adamantium is a variant of adamantium and can be created from it too. Same as Carbonadium}
"...So...the reason you said I can't create any of these is because...they don't actually exist?"
{They do exist but not in the conventional state.} Came ASPECT's reply.
"You know what? Just give me their molecular structure. I'll create what I can and excavate the ones closeby." Leucadius ordered and soon after, bits and pieces of words and numbers were projected in front of him.
Other than Vibranium and Antarctic Vibranium, which was Anti-metal, he just needed to make an off-shoot of the rest. Anyhow they came out wasn't up to him.
At best he creates them, at worst he creates a whole new metal.
"Hmm. Let's go on a short trip." Leucadius said after scanning the structures. With it memorized, he stored them in his Motherbox as a portal opened in front of him.
Sparing one last glance at the library which didn't give him a reasonable solution to his problem, he willed the chair to float into the portal.
(A/N: All metals mentioned actually exist, but were created by humans in the 21 century. However their capabilities are actually top notch when you consider their overall abilities.)
...
Africa was a continent teeming with diverse ecosystems. Its landscapes ranged from dense rainforests to expansive savannas, providing habitats for a wide array of flora and fauna.
It still hasn't been named Africa but that wasn't of any concern to Leucadius as he already gave it the name. Appearing in the skies so high up that he could see the entire continent, he couldn't help but nod in appreciation.
Still, locking onto a particular place Within the continent, a portal opened up again before sucking him in and depositing him in front of a place filled with a foreign energy signature than the ecosystem around it.
It wasn't giving off a bad vibe, but it was still different.
"This is the place..." Leucadius muttered to himself as his Chair floated slowly above the area. He could already tell the Vibranium deposit wasn't above ground but below. "Track its exact location and send me there."
{Understood.}
Was all he heard before a Portal opened up again before swallowing and depositing him in front of a small mountain of dark gray metal.
The raw Vibranium exuded a faint, pulsating energy, casting an otherworldly glow in the surrounding area. Leucadius approached slowly, his senses keenly attuned to the unique vibrations emanating from the metal.
Carefully, he reached out a hand, feeling the cool, smooth surface of the Vibranium beneath his fingertips. Despite its solid appearance, there was a subtle hum of energy coursing through the metal, as if it were alive in some way.
Leucadius closed his eyes, allowing himself to focus on the energy signature of the Vibranium. He could sense its latent potential, the vast possibilities that lay dormant within its molecular structure.
With a deep breath, Leucadius began to channel his cosmic energy, weaving it to match that of the Vibranium. Slowly, he gained an integral understanding of how it operated.
"An interesting metal." Leucadius said. The energy reading he had gotten from the metal was already uploaded into his Motherbox before he looked around and saw the plants and natural fauna around the metal.
These weren't normal plants by any means.
Normal plants needed Energy of the Sun to actually grow and these ones didn't. They relied on the energy exuded by the Vibranium to grow and although he didn't need it, plucking out a few would be good for his gallery.
"How is it? Can it be produced?" Leucadius asked and a soft ding was heard as a small round metal appeared on the arm rest of the chair. "I'll take that as a yes."
He said and lifted the small ball of Vibranium that was just created by the Motherbox. "A hundred percent match. I'm impressed."
{Energy never lies, Sir.}
"That...it doesn't." He said before casting one last glance at the place. This land hadn't been populated yet so it held no form of appeal to him. Also, this was an era where the humans were still nothing but barbarians.
Not even Adam and Eve had discovered how to make fire yet. All their produce are eaten raw, and as the earth is still pure along with their physique, nothing could possibly harm them.
Leucadius reckoned that it'd take a few millennia for people to even begin populating these parts.
A portal opened up before him before swallowing him and depositing him in another part of the earth, and if not for his superior physique, he would have been frozen a thousand times over.
"Damn. Where exactly are we?" He muttered. He knew that the earth hasn't begun changing much so for this place to have this level of Cold energy could mean one of two things.
It was either disconnected from the Earth as a whole or was affected by some external factors.
"Who dares invade my home!" A sudden shout broke through Leucadius' train of thought as a pressure he wasn't too unfamiliar with descended on him. "Huh? It's just you? How did you get in here?"
"Gaea...so you had this place hidden....even from me?" Leucadius asked in a pitiful tone.
"Of course. Why wouldn't I?" She mercilessly replied. "This is the only place where I can preserve the world I came to love in the past." She continued. Her voice sounded a bit melancholic.
Leucadius kept silent as he tried to make sense of her words. 'Hmm. A time before the Celestials thought humans were good experimental subjects.'
"So you created a special dimension and sealed it in time?" Leucadius asked as he came to a conclusion.
"..."
"You haven't answered my question." Gaea's voice sounded again. "How did you get here?"
"Are you really that surprised that I managed to find this place?" Leucadius asked.
"I'm not, but that doesn't mean I'm not curious."
"I had ASPECT scan the planet for metals suitable to build a machine capable of Space Travel. This place happened to have a metal I could use."
"The Anti Metal." Gaea said "...how did it manage to find that out." She said in distaste.
"I know you don't like the guy, but he's quite good." Leucadius came to his child's defense.
"He/She/It. Decide on which one it is before talking to me." She said before her presence disappeared along with a... "Let this be the last time I find you here."
"You got it." Leucadius said while mentally commanding the Motherbox to teleport him to the Anti Metal. A portal was opened and like the other times, he was swallowed and deposited, however unlike other times, he found himself in a gradually darkening area...
{Sir, I'm afraid we're about to be swallowed,}
Aspect said, but before he could even finish speaking, a gigantic palm had manifested before slapping the huge mouth about to swallow him away.
"Mothafucka!" He screamed as he put his hand down allowing for the Golden energy hand to dissipate.
ROARRRR!
The dinosaur he had slapped away stood up and roared angrily at Leucadius. Leucadius however, didn't have the time to entertain the creature and deployed a Gravity aura around the creature, pinning him in place.
"You should consider yourself lucky." Leucadius said and floated away. The only reason the beast wasn't dead was because they were probably Gaea's pet. He didn't know and didn't care to know at all.
And upon arriving at the area where the massive deposit of Anti Metal was laid, Leucadius felt a certain level of discomfort emanating from his chair which surprised him greatly.
One needed to know that the metal used to create this Chair was actually from Gaea, and although he didn't know it's name or origin, it could be said to be the strongest metal Earth had to offer.
However, even that material felt threatened in the presence of a metal such as this Vibranium.
"Interesting." Was all Leucadius could say. If he could make his energy mimic the frequency the Anti Metal was giving off, wouldn't that make him the perfect enemy for all Technologically advanced species out there?
Leucadius was quick to shake his head though. Thinking that no other civilization out there had come in contact with a metal of similar quality will be stupid on his part.
This Universe or rather, the entire multiverse in general revolved around Technological advances. There was a very, very little membrane separating the two forces known as Magic and Science after all.
And so, covering himself and his chair with the same vibration frequency as the Vibranium he collected from Africa, he moved closer to the Anti Metal and placed his uncovered hand on it.
A few seconds had him trying to attune with the energy waves it was giving off.
(A/N: Not to be mistaken. Vibration is a form of energy. So...)
"Hmm. What an interesting set of metals. They're like the Yin and Yang of all Metals..." Leucadius said with a calculating look in his eyes while the data was being processed by the Motherbox.
Vibranium has the unique ability to absorb and store kinetic energy, making it nearly indestructible.
Antarctic Vibranium emits vibrations that destabilize the molecular structure of other metals, causing them to lose their solidity and disintegrate into a liquid state.
It is highly volatile and dangerous when used improperly.
Vibranium is prized for its strength, durability, and energy-absorption properties. It is used in a variety of applications, including advanced weaponry, protective armor, and technological innovations.
{Antarctic Vibranium, or Anti-Metal, is less commonly used due to its destructive properties. It is sometimes employed as a weapon or a means of sabotage, but its use is typically limited due to the difficulty of controlling its effects.}
{This is also why it is recommended in the FTL machine. It could be Utilized in heat dissipation panels and thermal regulation systems to manage temperature fluctuations during FTL travel.}
"I can...You know what? Thanks for the update." Leucadius said. He could already come to that conclusion but ASPECT...he just likes the sound of his own voice doesn't he?
