Emily handed his phone back to him and stood by the window, stretching and silently gazing at the city lights. The quietness in the hospital room seemed to grow even more profound.
Suddenly, Satan's phone rang. He gestured for Emily to answer it.
Thinking it was Dylan, she casually picked up the call. “Hello?”
There was silence on the other end for several seconds before a woman's sharp voice cut through, “Who are you? Why are you answering Satan's phone?”
That voice sounded vaguely familiar... and there was only one person who called him Satan like that.
