Manifestation of a myth

CHAPTER SIXTY ONE

"Tell me your intentions towards the lady," Marine insisted and even though Doni tried to avoid the question, she followed him on it relentlessly. "Do you love the lady?"

"I don't," He muttered. "Why would I love the daughter of the man who took everything away from me?"

"I don't know, that's why I am asking you." She accused. "You have no business in saving her, you have no business in giving her your mana."

"I told you I needed her in my plan." He suddenly snapped feeling offended because Marine was trying to get information where there is nothing. "The other princesses aren't as gullible as she is, and Rain has romantic feelings for me."

"Is that all there is to it?" She asked curiously. "Are you telling me the truth, Doni? Are you going to swear to me right now that you are not going to abandon our revenge for the sake of the lady?"
