Hey guys, back with another chapter. I promise I'm almost done with this arc. But I am still developing the story after they conquer Earth, I just don't know the direction the story will take. If anyone has suggestions let me know. Also, if you want another update to my DC story let me know in the comments.
"A man's greatest joy is crushing his enemies." -Genghis Khan
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The skies above Asia were clear and calm, a serene blue canvas interrupted only by the distant hum of fighter jets on patrol. That peace was shattered as Beerus tore through the atmosphere, a fiery streak descending from the heavens. His eyes, glowing with an ominous crimson light, were fixed on his target below.
Shanghai was the first to feel his wrath. Beerus hovered above the city, his presence casting a dark shadow over the bustling metropolis. He raised his arms, and with a primal roar, released a torrent of energy from his eyes. The beams, searing and unstoppable, carved a path of destruction through the skyscrapers, turning concrete and steel into molten rubble. The city's iconic skyline crumbled in an instant, reduced to a smoldering wasteland. Buildings exploded into clouds of debris, and the screams of the city's inhabitants were drowned out by the roar of destruction.
Cecil watched the devastation unfold from the GDA operations room, his face a mask of grim determination. "Send in Mark," he ordered, his voice cutting through the chaos. "And scramble all available fighter jets. We need to slow him down, buy ourselves some time."
Mark, known to the world as Invincible, was already airborne, his heart pounding with a mix of fear and resolve. He had faced powerful foes before, but nothing like this. As he approached the burning ruins of Shanghai, he could see Beerus continuing his rampage, the city's defenses crumbling before him.
"Beerus!" Mark shouted, flying at top speed towards the villain. "This ends now!"
Beerus turned, his eyes narrowing at the sight of Mark. "Ah, Invincible. Come to play hero, have you?" He smirked, a cold, merciless smile. "Let's see how invincible you really are."
Mark launched himself at Beerus, fists swinging with all his might. The two clashed in a thunderous impact, shockwaves rippling through the air. Mark's punches landed with a force that could crack mountains, but Beerus barely flinched. With a casual backhand, he sent Mark spiraling through the air, crashing into a distant building. The impact shattered windows and sent chunks of concrete raining down, burying Mark in rubble.
Meanwhile, fighter jets streaked across the sky, unleashing a barrage of missiles and gunfire. The explosions lit up the sky, but Beerus merely shrugged off the assault, his energy beams slicing through the jets like paper. One by one, the planes exploded in fiery plumes, the pilots' desperate maneuvers no match for Beerus's relentless power. The burning wreckage of the jets plummeted to the ground, leaving trails of smoke and destruction in their wake.
On the ground, troops tried to mount a defense, their tanks and artillery firing in unison. But Beerus descended upon them like a force of nature, his omega beams cutting through armor and flesh with ruthless efficiency. Entire battalions were wiped out in moments, their efforts futile against his overwhelming might. Soldiers were vaporized, their screams cut short as their bodies were torn apart by the relentless energy beams. Blood and charred remains littered the battlefield, a gruesome testament to Beerus's unstoppable power.
Mark, bruised and battered, pushed himself out of the rubble, his vision swimming. He could see the utter devastation, the hopelessness in the eyes of the soldiers still standing. But he refused to give up. Summoning every ounce of his strength, he flew back into the fray, determined to stop Beerus no matter the cost.
Cecil's voice crackled in his earpiece. "Mark, fall back! We can't lose you too. We need to regroup and find another way."
But Mark ignored him, his resolve unwavering. "No, Cecil. I can't just stand by and watch him destroy everything. I have to try."
Beerus watched Mark approach again, a look of mild annoyance crossing his face. "Persistent, aren't you? Very well, let's end this."
The two collided once more, a brutal exchange of blows that sent shockwaves through the already ruined city. Each punch from Beerus was a seismic event, sending cracks spider-webbing through the ground below. Mark's defiance was admirable, but futile. With a final, devastating punch, Beerus sent Mark crashing to the ground, a crater forming where he landed. Mark's body lay broken and bloodied, his costume torn and his breath shallow.
Beerus hovered above the destruction, surveying the ruined cityscape. "Is this the best Earth has to offer?" he mused, almost bored. "Pathetic."
As Beerus turned his gaze toward his next target, Beijing, the fighter jets and troops lay decimated, Mark lay unconscious in the rubble, and Cecil, watching helplessly from afar, knew they were running out of time and options. The true extent of Beerus's power had been laid bare, and the world could only brace for the horrors yet to come. The camera feeds showed cities reduced to smoking ruins, bodies littering the streets, and fires raging uncontrollably. Cecil's face hardened with resolve. This was war, and the fight for humanity's survival had only just begun.
XXXX
Several cities and countries in shambles later, our resident bane of humanity, moved on to Europe. As he flew over the Mediterranean and approached the picturesque cityscape of Italy, he blinked in surprise. Below him, spread out like an intricate patchwork, was a sprawling military encampment. An array of NATO forces had gathered, their presence a stark contrast to the serene Italian countryside.
Rows upon rows of military tanks were lined up, their cannons aimed skyward in anticipation. Soldiers moved with practiced precision, taking up defensive positions and manning various artillery installations. Command tents, marked with NATO insignia, dotted the landscape. Each tent was a hub of activity, with officers coordinating strategies, poring over maps, and relaying orders through a network of radios and computer systems.
Beerus hovered in the air, observing the scene with a mix of curiosity and mild amusement. Below him, the alarm system was triggered, and a cacophony of sirens and klaxons erupted, shattering the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. Soldiers and tanks mobilized with impressive speed, converging on his position with military discipline.
From his vantage point, Beerus could see the various elements of the NATO force arrayed against him. Anti-aircraft batteries swiveled into position, their operators locking onto him with sophisticated targeting systems. Missile launchers were readied, the sleek, deadly projectiles gleaming in the afternoon sun. Fighter jets, previously on standby, roared to life and took off from nearby airstrips, their engines screaming as they ascended to engage the extraterrestrial threat.
The ground forces, a mix of Italian, American, British, and other NATO troops, were a sea of camouflaged uniforms and glinting weaponry. Infantry units armed with assault rifles, rocket launchers, and high-caliber sniper rifles spread out, seeking cover behind hastily erected barricades and armored vehicles. Tank divisions, including the formidable M1 Abrams and the British Challenger 2, rumbled forward, their tracks churning up the earth as they advanced.
Beerus could hear the chatter of radio communications from the command tents, officers issuing rapid-fire commands in multiple languages. "All units, engage target! Repeat, engage target! Air support, provide cover fire and maintain altitude!" The orders were clear and concise, reflecting the urgency and gravity of the situation.
The first wave of missiles streaked through the sky, leaving trails of smoke as they homed in on Beerus. He watched them approach with a calm detachment, his eyes narrowing. With a swift motion, he unleashed his omega beams, the searing red energy slicing through the incoming projectiles with pinpoint accuracy. Explosions lit up the sky as the missiles detonated prematurely, their fiery remnants raining down harmlessly into the sea.
Undeterred, the ground forces opened fire. Tanks unleashed their shells, and anti-aircraft guns spat out streams of tracer rounds. The sky was filled with the deafening roar of artillery, the ground shaking with the force of the bombardment. Beerus moved with blinding speed, weaving through the hail of bullets and shells, his reflexes far beyond the capabilities of human weaponry.
He descended rapidly, landing with a thunderous impact that sent shockwaves through the earth. The closest tanks and soldiers were thrown off their feet, the sheer force of his arrival a testament to his immense power. Beerus wasted no time, his eyes glowing with lethal intent as he targeted the nearest tanks. His omega beams lanced out, cutting through steel and armor like a hot knife through butter. The tanks exploded in fiery blossoms, the air filled with the acrid smell of burning metal and fuel.
Infantry units fired upon him, their bullets pinging off his near invulnerable skin. He swatted them aside with contemptuous ease, his natural strength turning their weapons into scrap metal. A group of soldiers armed with rocket launchers took aim, but Beerus was upon them in an instant, his fists a blur as he decapitated them with brutal efficiency. Bodies and blood flew through the air, their broken forms testament to his overwhelming might.
In the air, fighter jets closed in, launching a barrage of missiles and cannon fire. Beerus leaped into the sky, meeting them head-on. He tore through the formations with his mere body with terrifying speed, his omega beams ripping through fuselages and wings. Jets spiraled out of control, trailing smoke and flames as they plummeted to the ground. Pilots ejected in desperation, their parachutes blossoming like white flowers against the blue sky, but Beerus paid them no heed. His focus was on total annihilation.
Back at the command tents, the scene was one of controlled chaos. Officers shouted into radios, trying to coordinate the defense, but it was clear that their efforts were in vain. "Fall back! Fall back to secondary positions!" one commander ordered, his voice tinged with desperation. The remaining forces began a hasty retreat, trying to regroup and mount a more organized resistance.
Beerus landed once more, his gaze sweeping over the devastation he had wrought. The military encampment lay in ruins, smoke rising from burning tanks and shattered command tents. Bodies and debris were scattered across the landscape, the ground stained with blood and oil. He could hear the distant wail of sirens from the surrounding towns and cities, the full scope of his destruction becoming painfully evident.
Hovering above the decimated battlefield, Beerus allowed himself a moment of satisfaction. "Is this the best they can muster?" he mused aloud, his voice carrying over the wind. "Pathetic."
As he prepared to move on to his next target, the realization of his invincibility solidified in his mind. Nothing on this planet could stop him. The world governments had thrown everything they had at him, and it had amounted to nothing more than a minor inconvenience. Beerus's next move would be even more devastating, and there seemed to be no force on Earth capable of halting his path of destruction. He then scoffed and moved on to the next city.
XXXX
As Beerus flew faster than sound, the hum of the wind was abruptly interrupted by the sound of a strange technological device. His keen senses picked up a signal indicating the presence of a being standing quite a distance away. Adjusting his flight path, he slowed down and descended, his sharp eyes narrowing as he recognized the figure.
"Cecil," Beerus muttered, a mix of amusement and annoyance in his voice. Hovering above the ground, he landed gracefully, his eyes locking onto the director of the Global Defense Agency.
Cecil stood firm, his hands in his pockets, a faint smirk playing on his lips. The tension in the air was palpable, the two powerful beings sizing each other up.
"Beerus," Cecil greeted, his tone calm and measured. "I see you're causing quite a ruckus. Thought we could have a little chat."
Beerus's eyes glowed faintly, a warning of his immense power. "A chat? After all your attempts to stop me, do you think a conversation will change anything?"
Cecil shrugged, seemingly unfazed by the Viltrumite's intimidating presence. "Well, I figured it's worth a shot. You've made quite the mess, and frankly, it's becoming a bit of a problem."
Beerus crossed his arms, a smirk of his own forming. "Your soldiers, your jets, your missiles... all pathetic attempts. You humans never learn."
Cecil's eyes narrowed slightly. "True, we're not exactly on your level. But I've always believed in trying everything before giving up. You're a tough nut to crack, Beerus."
Beerus tilted his head, intrigued by Cecil's calm demeanor. "You're not afraid of me, are you, Cecil? You should be. I could obliterate you in an instant."
Cecil chuckled, though it was devoid of humor. "Fear? Maybe. But I've learned that fear doesn't get the job done. What do you want, Beerus? What's your endgame here?"
Beerus's eyes flashed with a mixture of disdain and contemplation. "My endgame? To show your pitiful planet the true meaning of power. To prove that your so-called heroes are nothing but a farce."
Cecil sighed, his gaze unwavering. "And after that? What happens when you've destroyed everything? What then?"
Beerus's smirk faded, replaced by a cold, calculating stare. "Then I move on. This planet is just a stepping stone. There are countless worlds out there, Cecil. This one is just in my way."
Cecil nodded slowly, absorbing the gravity of Beerus's words. "You know, for someone so powerful, you seem awfully determined to prove something. Almost like... you're compensating for something."
Beerus's eyes flared, his aura pulsating with barely restrained fury. "Watch your words, human. I could crush you without a second thought."
Cecil held up his hands in a placating gesture. "I'm just saying, Beerus. All this destruction... it's a lot of effort to prove a point. Maybe there's another way."
Beerus snorted, the glow in his eyes dimming slightly. "You think you can negotiate with me? Offer me something that will make me stop?"
Cecil's expression grew serious. "I think we can find a way to coexist. You're clearly a force to be reckoned with. But this path of destruction leads nowhere. Help us, and maybe we can help you."
Beerus's smirk returned, this time colder. "Coexist? With you? Your world is weak, and your attempts to delay the inevitable are pathetic."
He turned away, ready to resume his path of destruction. Cecil's eyes narrowed, a hint of desperation flickering in them. "I was hoping it wouldn't come to this," he murmured into a concealed microphone.
Suddenly, the ground beneath them trembled. Beerus paused, sensing a new threat. From behind a ridge, a massive creature lumbered into view—the same green Kaiju that had once battled Omni-Man. Its eyes locked onto Beerus, its roar echoing through the valley.
Beerus glanced back at Cecil, his expression one of mild interest. "This is your backup plan? A large creature?"
Cecil's voice was steady, though there was a hint of tension. "It's a creature designed to challenge even the strongest beings on this planet. Good luck, Beerus."
With a growl, the Kaiju charged, its massive fists slamming into the ground as it moved with surprising speed. Beerus's eyes flared with anticipation as he prepared to face this new adversary.
The Kaiju swung its enormous fist at Beerus, who effortlessly dodged the blow and countered with a powerful punch to the creature's midsection. The impact sent shockwaves rippling through the air, but the Kaiju barely flinched, its thick hide absorbing the force.
Beerus narrowed his eyes, realizing this would require more effort than he initially thought. The Kaiju roared again, swinging both fists in a wide arc. Beerus weaved between the blows, his movements a blur. He unleashed his omega beams, aiming for the creature's eyes, but the Kaiju deflected the beams with its massive forearms, the energy scorching its green skin but not penetrating it.
The battle intensified, each exchange of blows shaking the ground. Beerus darted around the Kaiju, striking with blinding speed and precision, while the creature used its immense size and strength to its advantage, attempting to crush Beerus under its weight.
Cecil watched from a safe distance, his expression grim. He knew this was a desperate gamble, but it was the only way to buy some time. The Kaiju was a last resort, a weapon of unimaginable power, but even that might not be enough to stop Beerus.
As the fight raged on, Beerus began to push the Kaiju back, his relentless assault gradually wearing down the beast. With a final, devastating blow, he sent the Kaiju crashing to the ground.
Beerus stood over the fallen creature, breathing heavily but triumphant. He turned his gaze back to Cecil, who remained stoic despite the defeat of his trump card.
"Is that all, Cecil?" Beerus called out, his voice echoing across the battlefield. "Do you have any more tricks up your sleeve?"
Cecil met his gaze, his expression resolute. "We'll keep fighting, Beerus. We'll never stop."
Beerus chuckled darkly. "So be it. Your defiance will be your undoing."
Cecil's lips curled into a faint smile. "We'll see about that." With a flicker of light, Cecil activated his teleportation device and vanished, leaving Beerus alone with the remains of the Kaiju.
Suddenly, a loud roar pierced the air again, the massive Kaiju getting up and its eyes locking onto Beerus with renewed fury. This time, it charged with even more ferocity, its massive form barreling through the landscape with earth-shaking force. Beerus's eyes gleamed with excitement; he was ready to test the true limits of this creature.
The Kaiju's fists crashed down like extremely overpowered sledgehammers, each blow causing tremors and craters that echoed for miles. Beerus danced around the attacks, his speed making him a blur. He delivered precise strikes to the creature's joints and weak points, testing its resilience. The Kaiju responded with wild swipes and crushing blows, its sheer size and power making it a formidable opponent.
Beerus's omega beams cut through the air, striking the Kaiju's thick hide. The creature roared in pain, its skin sizzling and smoking, but it kept coming, relentless in its assault. Beerus's movements were a ballet of destruction, his punches and kicks attempting to shatter bones and rupture organs, yet the Kaiju refused to fall.
The ground around them became a battlefield of destruction, craters forming where they clashed, trees uprooted, and rocks pulverized. Beerus grabbed one of the Kaiju's legs, punching the knee cap that broke with a sickening crack. The creature howled in agony, but used its tentacles to smash Beerus into the ground. The impact created a massive crater, dust and debris flying into the air.
Beerus emerged from the crater, his eyes burning with fury. He launched himself at the Kaiju, his fists a blur of motion. Each punch landed with the force of a meteor, cracking the creature's hide and sending shockwaves through its body and internal organs. The Kaiju staggered, its roars becoming more desperate.
With a final, titanic effort, Beerus delivered a devastating uppercut, lifting the Kaiju off its feet and sending it crashing to the ground with earth-shaking force. The creature convulsed, its life force fading as Beerus stood over it, victorious.
Breathing heavily once again, Beerus surveyed the battlefield. The Kaiju lay motionless, a testament to his unmatched power. He turned his gaze to the horizon, aware that more challenges awaited him, but confident in his ability to overcome any obstacle. However, there was one more thing to do before continuing his path of destruction.
Beerus turned towards the dead creature, its massive form sprawled across the landscape, and fired his omega beams with pinpoint precision. The beams sliced through the Kaiju's underbelly, disintegrating its flesh and bones in a searing flash of crimson light. Blood spots and remnants of the creature's genetic material evaporated under the intense heat, leaving no trace behind.
As he watched the last of the creature's remains turn to ash and scatter in the wind, a thought crossed Beerus's mind. He felt a twinge of annoyance at himself for not targeting the Kaiju's soft underbelly during the fight. Most organisms in the universe had vulnerable stomachs compared to his kind, and exploiting that weakness could have made the battle significantly easier.
Beerus hovered above the now molten ground, reflecting on the battle. The once formidable Kaiju, a last-ditch effort by humanity to stop him, was now reduced to nothingness. He couldn't afford such oversight in future battles. His foes, though weaker, sometimes possessed unexpected resilience and cunning.
As the last of the Kaiju's remains turned to ash and scattered in the wind, Beerus allowed himself a moment of satisfaction. He had prevented humanity from developing new weapons from the creature's DNA, eliminating a potential threat to his plans.
Hovering above the ground, he marveled at the devastation he had wrought. The once serene Italian countryside was a battlefield of craters and ruins, yet it was a mere prelude to the chaos he intended to unleash.
His eyes narrowed with renewed determination. He would bring this world to its knees, proving the futility of resistance. With a final glance at the desolate scene, Beerus ascended into the sky, his sights set on his next target. The war was far from over, and the universe would soon learn the true meaning of power.

In the GDA operations room, the atmosphere was heavy with despair and urgency. The once-bustling room was now eerily quiet, the screens displaying footage of the ongoing devastation. The flickering lights and the constant hum of machinery created an almost surreal backdrop to the scene unfolding before them.
Cecil reappeared, his form materializing from a flash of light. His face was a mask of grim determination, the weight of their recent defeat evident in the lines etched into his features. He took a deep breath, trying to steady himself as he surveyed the damage that Beerus had wrought. The room was filled with debris from the frantic activity earlier, papers scattered, and equipment in disarray.
Donald was hunched over a workstation, his face pale and drawn. His fingers flew across the keyboard, attempting to piece together the scattered intelligence and assess the full extent of Beerus's destruction. The look of frustration was clear in his eyes. "We've lost contact with several units as well as a battalion of NATO's forces. The casualties are... catastrophic. The Kaiju barely made a dent."
Debbie, standing nearby, was gripping the edge of a console tightly. Her face was flushed with a mix of fear and resolve. Her eyes were red from lack of sleep and the stress of the situation, but she remained focused. "Cecil, we need to regroup. There must be something we can do. We can't let him and…..Nolan just tear through everything."
Cecil looked over at them, his expression hardening with resolve. "We may have lost this round," he muttered to himself, his voice tinged with frustration, "but the fight is far from over."
He turned to face Donald and Debbie, his eyes steely with determination. "We need to re-evaluate our strategy. Beerus is powerful, and he's not going to stop until he's had his fill. But we still have resources, and we still have hope."
Donald looked up from his workstation, nodding slowly. "As much as I don't like it, we need to get Mark here and analyze his weaknesses. Maybe since Mark is one of them, they share the same weaknesses. We can develop something—anything—that could turn the tide."
Debbie stepped forward, her gaze wavering. "As much as I would hate for you to turn my kid into a lab rat…we don't have many other options, and we need to protect what's left. Evacuate civilians, fortify remaining defenses. If we can't stop him, we at least have to minimize the damage."
Cecil nodded, his mind already racing through possible strategies and contingencies. "I'll start coordinating with our allies. We need to form a united front, gather all available forces, and prepare for the next confrontation. We also need to assess the damage and recover whatever we can from the wreckage."
He glanced back at the screens, the images of destruction flashing across them. "This isn't just a fight for survival. It's a fight to protect our way of life, to show that we won't be easily broken."
Donald and Debbie exchanged looks, their spirits lifted by Cecil's unwavering resolve. Together, they began to organize the chaos, each of them playing their part in the battle to save their world from total annihilation.
As Cecil set about his tasks, his thoughts were focused on the future. The war with Beerus was far from over, and every moment counted in the battle to prevent the complete destruction of their world. He knew the road ahead would be fraught with challenges, but he was prepared to face them head-on, driven by the hope of saving humanity from the brink of extinction.
