For Wealth

Ramon was shocked when he learned his father had invited Rika's parents to the house.

Indeed, his father often made important events without Ramon's knowledge; maybe he intended to surprise him, but Ramon didn't like his father's way.

"Come on in, they've been waiting for you," said Ramon's father, who seemed to have prepared for the new couple's arrival.

Rika cheerfully entered the house and told Ramon all the happiness she felt during the start of this relationship.

"Mom, I'm happy that you and Ramon are happy, son," Rika's mother said as she listened to her daughter's story.

At first, Rika's father was angry about her marriage and her parents' absence. Still, since this had already happened and Rika's parents also saw Rika's current happiness, they were finally willing to accept Ramon with open arms.

Ramon's father was deliberately looking for the whereabouts of Rika's parents; they wanted to know if Rika came from a good family or if she came from a family of unclear origin.

But after meeting Rika's parents and knowing that Rika was from a deprived family, Ramon's father finally asked them to go to Bandung so that Rika could meet her family, whom she had not seen for a long time.

"Dad, I'm going home first. Rika looks very tired and I don't want her to get sick," Ramon said in the middle of the program.

Apart from the fact that Rika looked tired, Ramon was also uncomfortable being too close to his parents.

Rika, who saw Ramon's discomfort, finally complied and said goodbye to her parents and in-laws.

"Alright, of course you can. Let Rika's mom and dad stay here," Jaya said gently.

Rika's father was very happy with the gentleness of their in-laws; of course, they hoped Ramon could be as gentle with Rika as his father.

"All right, excuse me. I'll go home first, Mom." Rika said as she hurriedly followed Ramon to the car.

They both went home without a driver and arrived before dinner.

"We're home." Ramon exclaimed upon arriving home. Sopiah didn't come to greet the new couple. Ramon then wandered around the house looking for his servant. "Where is she? I'm already hungry!" Ramon shouted irritably while holding his stomach.

Rika then tried to find Sopiah, but she was probably busy in the kitchen or tending to the back garden, she thought.

"Sopiah, Master, looking for you," Rika whispered when she found Sopiah watching her favorite movie in her room.

Sophia was surprised to see Rika standing at her door.

"Madam, I'm sorry I didn't hear you." Sopiah exclaimed as she approached Rika.

"Hurry up, Master is starving and he's angry out front."

"Alright, I'll prepare dinner first," said Sopiah as she hurried to the kitchen.

Rika then approached her husband again and told him that Sopiah was cooking for the two of them.

"Dinner is ready, ladies and gentlemen," Sopiah exclaimed shortly after.

Ramon rushed to the dining room and immediately ate all the food, not wanting to wait long.

Rika and Sopiah could only watch Ramon's strange behavior. Usually, Rika was taunted by Ramon's gluttony, but today, Ramon looked very greedy.

"What's wrong with you?" Asked Rika, who saw the strangeness, Ramon, who was starving, did not care about Rika's words.

.Rika's cell phone rang, and the campus contacted Rika because the odd semester payment period had arrived.

Rika looked speechless; she dared not ask Ramon for money even though they were now married.

"Who," asked Ramon briefly. Rika then explained that the college sent the message asking her to make the semesterly payment.

Ramon was silent; even though he looked wealthy, his parents did not give him too much money. But Rika's need seemed to excuse him to ask for more money.

"I'll give you some, how much do you need?" Ramon asked lightly.

"Two million." Rika replied with a smile.

"Okay, my wife. You take it easy." Ramon exclaimed as he puffed out his chest in front of his wife.

After their dinner, Ramon asked his wife to go to bed early.

He was worried that she was exhausted after their trip. Rika, who seemed very obedient, then hurried to her room.

Ramon, who saw that Rika was already asleep, called Anita, her mother, to ask for money to pay for Rika's semester. When her mother asked how much money Rika needed, Ramon said she required ten million for all her college needs. Because Anita strongly believed that her son had mentioned the correct figure, Anita immediately transferred the amount of money requested by Ramon.

Of course, Ramon was very excited about it. Finally, he knew that Rika would be a gold mine for him.

The next day.

When Ramon saw that his wife was awake, he immediately invited Rika to pay her semester fee today; of course, Rika was very happy that she finally had a husband who would help her pay her tuition fees.

Rika then hugged Ramon, who only smiled sarcastically at his wife's innocence.

"Come on, let's go. It's still early." Ramon said, which made Rika excited.

After getting ready, they rushed to Rika's campus in the Setia Budi area of Bandung.

Arriving at the campus, all of Rika's friends looked at the innocent girl who was now the wife of a rich man; some congratulated her, and some just sneered at Rika, who was considered married only for wealth.

Hearing the negative words from her friends, Rika was silent. "Already, don't listen. They know we met in a very coincidental meeting," Ramon exclaimed, seeing Rika gloomy.

Rika smiled again and thanked Ramon for answering her concerns. Not wanting to linger on campus, Ramon then asked Rika to go home after Rika's financial affairs were completed.

Ramon only paid two million of Rika's tuition fees, and the rest would be used for Ramon's hobbies, which had not been carried out for a long time.

Arriving home, Ramon asked Rika to rest immediately while Ramon seemed to be waiting for a friend who would come to his house.

Knock!

Klock!

It seemed that the guest Ramon was waiting to come. Ramon rushed to open the door; sure enough, it was Bram, Ramon's good friend.

"Hi, long time no see," greeted Bram while hugging his friend.

"Hi, I'm tired at home," Ramon said annoyedly.

"What's looking for me?" asked Bram, who seemed surprised by Ramon's attitude this time.

"Let's start again," Ramon replied happily.

"Start what?" asked Bram again.

"Gambling, Bro. Gambling," exclaimed Ramon with a very happy face.
