Ex-Wife

Ramon was sure Bram wouldn't let him go as easily as he had imagined, but why was his Master the target now? Ramon regretted.

"Ramon, who called you, son?" Mom asked as she stepped out of the room.

"Just a friend, Mom." Ramon replied, not wanting his mother to worry.

"Thank goodness. Hey, come home, it would be a shame if Rika was home alone for too long!" Mom said while patting her son's shoulder.

Ramon nodded and then said goodbye to his mother.

Rika was angry with him, but I don't know if she would forgive him for his past behavior with Klara.

In the past, Ramon had never thought of the bad impact he was receiving now, so he lived as he pleased and finally regretted it in the present.

Arriving at his house, several rooms appear to be dark.

Ramon then asked why the house looked uncharacteristically dark. Sophia said she had turned off some of the room lights because of Rika's request for a darker atmosphere.

"Maybe she's still upset with me!" Ramon said, trying to deduce what was going on.

Sopiah didn't answer; she shook her head and returned to her room.

It was late, and Rika seemed asleep; Ramon didn't want to wake his wife.

Ramon then chose to sleep on the sofa not far from his bed; he was worried that if he slept next to Rika, he would wake up with his head separated.

Ramon turned off the lights, and soon, he was fast asleep.

In the morning.

Ramon woke up with a blanket wrapped around his body; as he remembered yesterday, he didn't sleep with a blanket.

Ramon then got up from sleep and sat on the sofa; he saw his wife still asleep and seemed to have not changed her position from the day he last saw her.

"Then who covered me?" Ramon thought while wrinkling his forehead.

Not wanting to take too long to guess, Ramon then hurried to his bathroom; he saw that his bath kimono was already there; even the back rub he could find before taking a bath was neatly arranged with his soap and shampoo.

"Wow, Rika, who prepared all this?" Ramon asked himself.

He then rushed into the shower with a happy heart; if this was all Rika had prepared, it meant his wife was no longer angry with him, Ramon thought.

After finishing his shower, Ramon planned to hug his wife; Rika would be very happy if he approached her in a freshly showered condition, Ramon thought again.

With a happy heart, Ramon came out of the bathroom using his bath combo.

A smile spread across his face, and he approached his wife.

"What do you want?" Rika asked with a still angry face.

"Didn't you prepare all this?"

Rika shook her head, indicating that she hadn't prepared it.

"If not you who?" Ramon asked curiously.

"I just woke up, Ramon!" Rika said with a very sleepy face.

Ramon then stood up and took the clothes in the closet, wondering who did all this.

Rika, who saw her husband confused, then chuckled because of her husband's behavior.

Seeing Rika laughing, Ramon knew that Rika covered him and prepared his toiletries.

"It was you!" Ramon said, trying to convince her of what was on his mind.

"Who would take care of you this neatly if not me!" Rika said with an annoyed face.

Ramon then understood what his wife meant; he apologized for all his past, which Ramon didn't expect would cause problems while he was married to Rika.

Rika smiled; she understood that to get true love, she had to accept her partner's past and no longer expected her life partner to be a human without a past.

Ramon was relieved by Rika's thoughts; he hurried to put on his clothes since they hadn't had breakfast yet.

"Bring the breakfast over here; I'm still very tired!" Rika said, spoiled.

This time, Ramon was not angry with Rika's request; he complied with her request and walked to the kitchen.

Once in the kitchen, Ramon asked Sophia to put all his and Rika's breakfast on a tray for him to take to the room.

Ramon's gesture amazed Sopiah, and she complied with his request.

Ramon then carried two bowls of warm chicken porridge, complete with crackers and two boxes of bottled milk, to his room.

Rika, who saw her husband's service today, looked very happy; she hoped Ramon would continue to be like this to her even though he might change because of a problem in the future.

Ramon and Rika then began to eat the chicken porridge Sopiah had prepared, occasionally looking at each other meaningfully.

Satiated with breakfast in his room, Ramon cleared the plate and headed for the kitchen, where Sopiah appeared to be receiving a phone call from someone.

"Who?" Ramon asked, lifting his chin.

Popiah said the call was from Tobi, a waiter at Mrs. Anita's house.

Tobi said he had just checked the car that would be used to catch up with Mrs. Anita at the hospital and was shocked to find out that there was a cable in the car that seemed to have been deliberately cut by an unknown person.

Hearing the report, Ramon recalled the threat he had received last night from what he thought was Bram's voice; Bram could have ordered someone to break into Jaya's father's house and cut the wires in the car that his two masters would use, Ramon thought.

Sopiah seemed to disagree with Ramon's thoughts; how could strangers enter their luxurious house? There must be someone inside who did all this.

Indeed, Jaya's house was very closed; everyone who wanted to enter had to go through a check from the security unit that was on 24-hour guard, let alone strangers.

Ramon repeated what he was thinking; if it wasn't an unknown person who did all that, then who, he thought again.

"About, sir. The security guards are checking the CCTV near where the car was parked last night, as soon as they know they will update us!" Sophia continued.

"That's good, if the person who did it is someone I know, I'll kick him out. How dare he try to harm my mom!" Ramon swore angrily.

Not long after, Sopiah received another call from Tobi, and the waitress put up the loudspeaker so Ramon could hear the important news.

[Sopiah, the culprit is Nanda!] Tobi said.

"Who! Nanda!" Ramon said in shock.
