Always Avoid

It wasn't long before Sopiah received another call from Tobi, and the waitress put up the loudspeaker so Ramon could hear the important news.

[Sopiah, the culprit is Nanda!] Tobi said.

"Who! Nanda!" Ramon said in shock.

Sopiah immediately hung up the phone and looked at Ramon's shocked face.

"Is it possible, Miss, to do all this!" Sopiah asked incredulously.

Ramon then sat on a dining chair not far from where he stood earlier; he still couldn't believe that his sister would do all this to her mother.

"She really pisses me off!" Ramon said with his hands clenched into fists.

"What's going on?" Asked Rika, who had just walked in.

"Nanda's gone crazy, he's trying to hurt you, Mom!" Ramon shouted out loud.

Rika then asked her husband to calm down; Rika knew very well that if Ramon were angry, he would stay out of his mind. Rika then served hot tea to Ramon so that the tall, big man could be calmer.

"Well, if the evidence is strong, we have to ask Nanda to take responsibility for what he did!" Rika suggested, trying to take control of the matter.

"It's useless, he'll be evasive!" Ramon said while trying to lean his body against the chair.

"Yes, I know. There's no such thing as a thief claiming to be a thief. The thief claims to be the victim!" Rika continued.

Ramon continued to shake his head in disbelief that his sister had the heart to do this; who knows what demon incited her to come up with this idea to harm her mother?

"Already, this has happened. We can't just stay silent!" Said Rika, who was tired of seeing Ramon continue to look for reasons for his younger brother to cut the cable of his mother's car.

"So what should we do?" Asked Ramon, trying to understand what Rika was planning.

"We interrogate him, Mom should also be informed of all this!"

Hearing Rika's words, Ramon nodded and agreed to his wife's suggestions.

Having agreed on what they would do, Ramon and Rika rushed to Jaya's father's house to interrogate Nanda.

When she arrived, Nanda looked normal until Ramon asked her what she was doing, saying she didn't know a stranger had entered her house at night.

"What are you guys talking about, I don't understand?" Nanda said, pretending to be confused.

Ramon then said that someone cut the cable in his mother's car, and if Tobi had not checked the car, their mother could have been harmed.

Nanda was still evasive with her brother's accusations because she was annoyed. Ramon finally asked the CCTV to be played before them and saw when Nanda cut the car cable.

Nanda was very surprised; she did not expect that where she cut the cable, there was a CCTV installed by her father.

"You still want to evade?" Ramon asked sternly.

Nanda was silent; she didn't know what else to say.

"You know this can be dangerous, Nanda. What are you trying to say!" Rika asked gently.

Nanda kept quiet, trying to find excuses to escape all the accusations coming at him, but he couldn't succeed.

Feeling very cornered, the youngest son of the famous Jaya family finally burst into tears.

"No need to cry, you should apologize to Mom!" Ramon shouted, annoyed by his brother's behavior.

"I'm upset because now you trust Rika more than me!" Nanda shouted as she slammed the glass in front of her.

Rika looked at her sister-in-law. Nanda had been looking for trouble, so her family was reluctant to trust her again. Then why is she now to blame for the situation that happened to her, Rika thought with a wry smile.

"Already, don't blame, Rika. It's all your fault!" Ramon shouted in defense of Rika.

Nanda sat back down, knowing that this time she wouldn't escape the wrath of her brother, who had always been angry.

"What's going on?" Mrs. Anita asked when she arrived home.

Jaya's father then entered the house and was joyfully greeted by Ramon and Nanda.

"Why are you shouting, you're making a lot of noise!" Mrs. Anita said while carrying several bags containing Jaya's belongings.

Rika, who saw Mrs. Anita struggling with her luggage, came to help.

"Ah, only my daughter-in-law understands me. Look at her coming straight over to help me!" Mrs. Anita quipped as Rika gently picked up the few bags still in her hands.

"Ramon, come here!" Mom called and then seemed to let Nanda bring Jaya's father into the room,

"What's wrong, Mom?" Asked Ramon while sitting right in front of his mom.

"Don't shout like before; you know the condition your father is in!" Mom whispered, trying to remind Ramon.

Ramon then said that Nanda, who had cut the car cable, was still ducking and said she had done it because she was upset with Rika.

Anita seemed to shake her head; I don't know what her children are being fed to make so much trouble in this house.

"I don't know, I never understood you guys!" Anita said.

"So what good is he to us?" Asked Ramon, trying to reason with his mother.

Anita didn't answer, preferring to walk to the kitchen and look for a snack that could change her mood.

"Why, Mom, you're leaving!" Ramon exclaimed in annoyance.

"What should I do, Ramon, if I'm hungry!" Anita said as she began to cut the apple and start eating it.

"Well, Mom, just eat first. After that we'll talk!" Ramon said as he approached his mother and then hugged her gently.

Anita seemed happy with Ramon's hug, and she returned it with a small kiss and a smile on her son's forehead.

"If you had been like this all along, your father and I wouldn't have bothered to ask you to get married!"

"If I hadn't been forced into marriage, I wouldn't be like this." Ramon replied while looking at Rika.

Rika smiled back at her husband, who was getting sweeter by the day.

Rika then went into the kitchen and started talking with her husband and in-laws, when they were busy talking suddenly.

Braak!

Something fell loudly; Ramon and Anita looked at each other and rushed towards the origin of the sound.

"Ayaah!" Nanda's voice was heard accompanying the sound.

"Dad?" Ramon exclaimed as he quickened his pace and hurriedly made his way to Jaya's father's room.

To their surprise, when they opened the door to Jaya's father's room, they saw the middle-aged businessman lying on the floor, holding the pain in his leg.

"Hurry up and call a doctor!" Ramon shouted in panic.
