Nanda's Funeral

"Why, Nanda. Why did you have to leave so soon!" Bram whispered while holding back his anger.

After Nanda's funeral, Ramon took Dad, Mom and Rika home. It was getting late and Ramon didn't want them to still be there when it was dark.

Rika then walked slowly to the car and accidentally looked at Bram who was still staring intently at Nanda's grave.

"There!" Rika exclaimed while pointing at Bram.

Ramon who followed Rika's finger pointing towards Bram immediately knew who the man was.

"Bram!" Ramon whispered and stepped towards Bram.

"No!" Prevented Jaya who didn't want to find any more trouble with Bram, Jaya knew very well that the young man had a strong man behind the gambling business he was running.

"But, Dad..." Exclaimed Ramon who did not accept Bram walking away.

"ENOUGH!" Jaya shouted as he asked to be moved into the car.

Ramon complied with his father's request, he then got into the car and left Nanda with a million memories.

Arriving home they opened the evening with dinner that had been prepared by Tobi, a large plate of vegetables and several pieces of meat appeared to be served still warm.

Ramon hurried to eat because his stomach was very hungry.

Ting!

Toong!

Someone rang the doorbell and Tobi rushed to open the door.

"Hi, good evening. Me, Klara, Ramon there?" Greeted their guest that night.

"Oh, Tuha. What is this again?" Whispered Ramon who realized Klara would mess up his evening.

Klara then rushed into the dining room where all the family members were gathered.

"Hi, Mrs. Anita. Do you still remember me?" Greeted Klara who looked so beautiful with a gray dress and a beautiful flower headband.

"Klara, come eat with us. How are you?" Mom asked while asking Tobi to serve food on Klara's plate.

"Fine, mom. I came because Bram told me that Nanda died this afternoon!"

"Who told you?" Asked Ramon as if in disbelief.

"Bram, he called me on purpose because he knew you would be very sad about your brother's passing!"

Ramon didn't seem happy to hear Bram's name mentioned, but Klara didn't seem to care about her ex-boyfriend's response.

"Don't be like that, Bram, it's better now. I heard his business is closed. So he's trying to open a new business!" Klara explained so that Ramon would not be angry with their good friend anymore.

Ramon just chuckled, he didn't really believe that Bram had really quit his illicit business.

"Whatever if you don't believe it, but he really has changed now!" Klara continued while enjoying the dishes arranged on her plate.

"Dad, how are you? I heard you're not feeling well either, huh?" Asked Klara while smiling at Jaya.

Dad just nodded with a smile, actually Dad didn't really like Klara because this woman was too bold in dealing with Ramon, his son.

"By the way, aren't you here with your son?" Asked Rika who then answered Klara with a smile.

"Oh, Raya. He is with his father."

"Raya, who?" Asked Mom who didn't know the story about Klara's son.

Klara then told me that she had a son who was now being fostered by his father.

"Bring him here, he must be very cute!"

Mrs. Anita's words made Klara feel like she had fresh air to bring her son to see Ramon again, while Ramon, who knew Klara's rotten tricks, could only smile wryly.

"Well, let me call, Husband, and bring, Raya, here!"

Suddenly, Klara's words frightened Ramon and sure enough, less than ten minutes later Raya arrived delivered by Klara's personal driver.

"Mama," Raya shouted upon arriving at the mansion.

"Hi, let me introduce you. This is Daddy Jaya and Mommy Anita!" Greeted Klara while asking her son to shake hands with his former mother-in-law.

Raya was very happy to meet Mrs. Anita and Mr. Jaya. When shaking hands, Mrs. Anita seemed to notice that Raya's face was very similar to Ramon's when she was that age.

Mrs. Anita was speechless because she didn't want Jaya to notice Raya and Ramon's resemblance.

"Mom, why?" Asked Klara when she realized that Anita was starting to notice her son's resemblance to Ramon.

"Ah, no. Your son is very handsome, isn't he?" Mrs. Anita joked while looking sharply at Ramon.

Ramon then just looked down and didn't dare to look at his mother.

"Ramon, can we talk in the kitchen!" Invited Mrs. Anita who was very curious about Raya's presence.

The son of the Jaya family stood up and stepped into the kitchen as requested by his mother.

"Why does this kid look so much like you, huh?" Mrs. Anita asked when they arrived at the kitchen.

Ramon didn't dare to answer, he just looked down. The annoyed mother then lifted her son's chin while repeating her question.

"Yes, Mother. Klara, tell me, Raya, my son!"

"Oh, God. What a sin." Mom shouted.

Just as Nanda's problem was over, another problem of this magnitude came up, Rika who heard the conversation between her husband and in-laws then approached and asked them to turn down the sound so that Jaya would not find out this news.

"So you already know all this?" Asked Mrs. Anita who was surprised that Rika already knew this unpleasant news.

"I did, it's okay. What else can I do?" Rika said resignedly.

"Oh, God. It's a good thing your father's inheritance was given to Rika. If it was up to you, I don't know how many women would have come here to ask for their children from you, Ramon!" Mom whispered while patting his forehead, which felt very dizzy.

Ramon didn't answer, he was helplessly silent. Rika, who saw Ramon getting cornered, asked Ramon and Mom to return to the dining table before Jaya found out what they were really talking about in the kitchen.

"Anyway, I don't want to know, this is all your problem!" Mrs. Anita said as she walked back to the table.

"So what do you think, Mom?" Asked Klara trying to provoke Ramon's emotions.

"How what, Klara?" Mom asked pretending not to understand what Ramon's ex-girlfriend was saying.

"What, Ramon, didn't say anything important?"

"I don't know what you mean, Klara!" Mrs. Anita continued as she took a sip of water from her plate.

"Mom, my son is your son's flesh and blood, so don't you want to record my son's name as the successor of this family?" Klara was getting on Ramon's nerves.

Unable to stand Klara's words that seemed to be mocking him, Ramon became angry.

"ENOUGH!" Ramon shouted very loudly.
