12-'Pandora box'

Rosella, as usual, was watching the tree at night.

It's as if she's waiting for Darven to appear after she became his ally because of that flower, but he doesn't announce himself, as if he's waiting for her to turn to him.

but why? Why does he still want to kill Alexander even though Hera said he was innocent and a victim who needed saving too?

Had she really become an ally of the Demon of Avalon as they told her?

If he was a demon, why did Hera befriended him?

Rosella saw a bright green light and when she looked closely she saw a luminous green butterfly, just like the one she saw in her dreams in her grandmother's memories.

Rosella's eyes widened because those butterflies only appeared in her grandmother's memories, and now they were here! In front of her! In reality, not a dream.

Rosella stood up from her seat and took quick steps outside. On her way out, Heracles saw her, but she did not notice him.

Rosella hurried out and followed the green butterfly, as she used to follow it in dreams, where those butterflies guide her to memories.

But this time the butterfly led her away from the palace. She walked until she reached the forest. She walked until her legs tired. She walked until she reached a library at the edge of the city.

The butterfly crossed the library door, Rosella opened the door, the bell sounded, and jin lifted his eyes from the book, so his black eyes fell on her green eyes and on the butterfly, which evaporated as soon as their eyes met.

There was silence, they exchanged glances.

Why did the butterfly bring her here?

Jin spoke:

"Rosella?"

What?

"How do you know my name?"

“Hera, Butterfly, Alexander is controlling us!”

Rosella nodded in denial:

"I don't understand"

“Your grandmother said this would happen. Let me explain. Please sit down.”

He motioned for her to sit hesitantly on a wooden chair in the corner, and he pulled out a book and opened it, then spoke seriously:

“My name is jin, by the way. Your grandmother told me that she would bring you one day to tell you something that she will never be able to tell you through her memories.”

“I'm listening!”

Jin cleared his throat and said:

“That's a long story, going back years and years.”

In Alexander's previous life, when he was still a mere human on Earth before ascending to Avalon, the city he lived in was riddled with murders.

There is a serial killer. Alexander the flower seller used to throw his flowers in the streets for any lover to find them, and if he picked them or stole them, Alexander was giving himself the right to kill the flower thief.

He would kill reluctantly and in cold blood, but later he would feel intense remorse and cry in grief and distress because he did not know how to control this demon inside him.

There was only one person with him, Damianus, the owner of the flower shop where Alexander worked. Damianus used to tell Alexander to stop his crimes and tell him to ask God for forgiveness. He was very patient with Alexander.

Alexander ended up killing Jin, who was his friend, accidentally killing him while jin protected a victim.

But Alexander was impatient for his prayers to be answered, and he did not fight his demon. Rather, he killed himself. He killed himself to save the world from the devil inside him. He killed himself to protect others from himself.

Indeed, he killed himself, and this was considered a heroic act. He was reborn in Avalon as a prince of the Zeus family with a tainted past. Everyone considered him a monster, and although he was known as a murderer with tainted blood, he was chosen to take the throne instead of Darvin.

As everyone expected, this demon returned to control Alexander even within the borders of Avalon where demons do not exist.

Jin told everything to Rosella and then said:

“Your grandmother wants to tell you that Alexander is not bad. If he was bad, he would not have killed himself to protect others. If he was bad, he would not have moved to that land. There are people who use Alexander’s blood for their own benefit.”

"Like Darvin?"

Rosella examined jin and then asked:

“Are you Jin that Alexander killed in your previous lives?”

Jin nodded:

"But I am an ally of Alexander's now. I have found the flower."

"What do you mean? That flower was planted by Darvin, not Alexander."

"Darvin? Darvin's dead, Rosella."

Rosella froze:

"dead?"

“He hasn’t appeared for several years, also that flower can be planted by the entire family of Zeus but it only affects Alexander’s allies.”

Rosella did not understand:

“If Alexander was supposed to turn into a full demon after a hundred days and today is the sixtieth day, and you found the flower on the thirtieth day, does this mean that Alexander has been a full demon since the thirtieth day?”

Jin understood what was happening:

“This means that on the hundredth day, we will also turn into demons like him or be banished.”

Alexander was behind those flowers, wasn't Darvin? Because Alexander is already a demon?

He was pretending all this time?!

Rosella straightened up:

"We have to do something, we have to find Darvin!!"

"Darvin doesn't exist!"

"I saw him in my grandmother's memories! There's no way he's gone forever!"

Rosella felt so much pain in her head that she held it in pain and closed her eyes. Then she heard a voice saying:

"Run! Run! Run!"

It was dark and foggy around Rosella and the sound sounded like whispers and then it became very clear and loud:

"Run!"

The vision cleared to see Rosella Alexander standing in front of her. She shuddered and looked at him silently, then looked at jin, who was smiling lightly and pretending as if he did not know anything.

Alexander took Rosella's hand and said:

"You ran away?"

Rosella did not know what to do, but she imitated jin and pretended to be ignorant of his truth and replied:

“No, I couldn't sleep so I took a short walk outside.”

Alexander did not smile when she smiled at him and he took her by the hand behind him silently towards the outside. While she was walking, Rosella felt an energy or aura from a far away place and looked at him with some concern.

Rosella returned to the palace and Alexander returned her to her room and then he said:

"You know I'm weak, right?"

Rosella nodded and he took her hand and put it on his face and continued:

"You know that the only one who can help me is Damianos, right?"

Rosella nodded for him to continue:

“And you are the only one who can communicate with him now and see his past after he was exiled, which is why I am helpless without you.”

Rosella did not understand why Alexander was telling her this, so he continued in complete seriousness:

“So...please, don’t run away! Don’t leave me helpless against this devil alone.”

Rosella was unable to say good at that moment and remained silent to feel his temperature decrease. Then he removed her hand from his face and continued:

“I told you before, if I turn out to be a bad person, you have the right and freedom to kill me, so don’t be afraid of me!”

He said it and then left without looking back.

Rosella remained confused about her matter, but she decided to go to Heracles and tell him what had happened, as jin had told her, but before she left her room, Heracles had entered it.

Heracles looked worried as he said:

"What did jin tell you?"

"how-?"

“What did he tell you, jin!!!”

He was sweating and looked very anxious for her to tell him everything. So he told him everything Then Heracles panicked:

“What we feared is happening!”

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, we are mortal! Do you think that Damianos and Hera are innocent! They are the cause of everything! That is the secret! We are mortal!!"

Rosella grabbed his shoulders and gritted her teeth:

"Heracles! What's going on?"

Heracles calmed down a little and replied:

"Damianus was a farmer"

"Okay?"

"No, I think you should follow me."

"What?"

Heracles was walking outside and she followed him with some hesitation, and she continued to walk behind him until they reached an underground room full of books, and there he said:

"Pandora's Box, a box in which all evil and demons were trapped in that land, turning the earth into a perfect land where heroes could live forever. That is, this box traps all the evil that once existed in Avalon."

He grabbed a book and opened a page to reveal the image of a golden box, this box that she had seen in her grandmother’s memories previously, and he continued:

“This box was buried in a deserted land, but Damianos found it by chance and because it was a gold box that he gave to Hera as a gift, he did not know its story. He was ignorant and Hera also did not know anything and opened this box!”

Rosella understood what was happening:

“Injustice and demons have reigned in the land again, for this reason-”

“Zeus killed Hera and Damianus and the Rodion family was banished because the box was buried in the land of the Dorado!”

Rosella nodded in denial:

"this is not an excuse-"

Heracles interrupted her, continuing:

"For this reason, the kingdoms were united under the rule of Zeus, so that Zeus could hide the secret of the box and seize control of the Dorado family, where the box would be hidden forever. This is why Zeus did not move when Alexander began to turn into a devil."

"But my grandmother didn't know! Damianos didn't know! Damianos was the only one who could save Alexander!!"

“Yes, Damianus accepted Alexander only because he loved him. Damianus’ unconditional love for Alexander made him strong but did not save him.”

Rosella was shocked:

“So Hector was right, I have no right to be here. My grandmother is the reason for all of this, even if it was unintentional.”

"Alexander does not think so. Alexander does not know about the box. No one knows except you, me, and Zeus! But despite that, Alexander wants to return the Dorado family as Damianos promised. Alexander only cares about returning the right to its owner, as Damianos only wished."

Heracles looked at Rosella and asked:

“You still want to kill him? You still believe your grandmother’s memories?”

Why did her grandmother hide the box? Why didn't she tell her the whole truth?

Rosella didn't know what to believe anymore.

"I don't know, but the important thing is that Alexander is a demon now. We must do something."

Heracles nodded:

“Yes, tomorrow I will tell Hector, Castor, and Achilles and we will plan something. Until then, do not allow Alexander to feel suspicious and do not contact Darvin. He will take advantage of Alexander’s current weakness and take advantage of your being Rodion’s.”

Rosella nodded and Heracles pointed to her:

"Come on, go back to your room before Alexander notices something."

Rosella returned to her room in silence, but her heart and mind were covered in noise and bustle.

Why did her grandmother hide the box? If there is no other part she don't know anything about.
