PEARL THOMAS

Out side pearl's house, a small apartment painted in blue and white with two rooms and a furnished sitting room,one long Couch two small chairs by the side a side stool, a center table at the middle of the sitting room and just right in front was the TV, on the TV stand was a picture frame of pearl during her first birthday.

On the wall was a picture frame of Mr Williams and Mrs Seraphina Thomas's wedding, at the opposite side of the wall was Pearl's 10th year Birthday with her Dad, the apartment wasn't big or extravagant but it was a comfortable, a peaceful and cool environment to be in .

In front of a silver small gate, Joan's mother dropped Pearl off ... "Pearl pls take care of your self okay....? be careful and say hello to your dad for me.". ... Joan's mother said from inside the car as pearl came down,....."okày ma thank you so much..". .." Mum pls can I take her side I will be back shortly.. "...." Okay dear pls don't be long.. "..."Okay mum. " .

Joan came down and followed pearl through the gate into the house, as they walked in pearl called for her dad.... ""Dad ..!!... Dad..!!!.. are you home...?" . ...." My dalling are you guys back how wa...!? ". As he walk out from the kitchen through the backyard he was shocked at what he saw...." What.….!!!!!happened....!!!!!! "... "Hello Mr Williams..".... "Hello Joan...."

.... "Am fine dad it's nothing,"...she said as she turned to her friend ,..…."see you in school Joan thanks a lot.." .... "Okay..!!!and I am so sorry pls don't hate me..!!!" ..." .... Joan said as she hugged pearl goodbye... "No..!!! I won't but I will surely kill you if you don't call me when you get home..!!"..... "Okay I will .... Bye...."... "Bye..!!!!"

..." Joan ..!!!? "... Mr Williams called out to Joan in surprise seeing she was leaving in a hurry.

"..yes...!!!?". She turned ..

"And where you rushing of to..?we need to talk, I need to know what happened to my daughter ... "

."Pls Mr Williams I'm sorry but I need to go now, my mum is waiting for me outside I will be in trouble too if I don't go out immediately, pearl can tell you,I be back tomorrow I promise...!!! "…

She said with her both hands together like she was praying or begging, as she pleaded with Mr Williams...." Ohh your mum is outside, okay then except that, say hello to her for me, you can go.. "....." Thank you.. ".... So Joan left immediately.

" So young lady talk to me, can you tell me what happened to you ,why are you all soaked up?. "

…"As I said Dad it nothing am fine I don't want to talk about it .. " .. pearl said trying to hold up her tears,..." Ok hold on... Baby you know you can talk to me about anything at all, pls am worried sick I don't feel ok when you don't feel okay..!! "

.."Okay fine dad., I got hit on at the party...I don't know why people keep hitting on me and bullying me" she said as tears rolled down her eyes ... "Ohh ...my dear..!!!..shuu..!!!shuu...!!!!, don't cry..!! Don't worry dear it's because they bunch of loses...? It's okay dear it's okay...!! " ... He said as he hugged her, kissed her on her forehead, robbing her back.

He thought to himself...." I wish your mother was here.." .. when ever he looks at his daughter he sees his wife.

Mrs Seraphina was a 27 years old,fair young woman about 6.5 feet tall,black shiny lóng hair, brown eyes and she looked so beautiful, when they got married people always wonder how she got married to her husband.

He was Dark, 7feet tall, black hair and a feminine full body and he was 32year old. But as the saying goes ..... love is blind.

Pearl on the other hand looks more alot like her mum, fair skin tone, brown eyes, black shiny hair, developing body, pointed nose, she turned 15 February 13th but she was already 5feet tall, she was growing so fast and tall just like her mother.

But she was so Quite, an Introvert, she was so Smart, Brilliant or rather Intelligent, she always comes out top in school, she was one of the top excellent student in Liberty High School.

Since she entered 7th grade, she started representing her school in different competition, Maths Competition, Quiz,many more and she came back with so many trophies making the school proud.

In school every one called her the weirdo or the nod, some say she is a lunatic or that she is crazy, because she doesn't talk to any one she doesn't say anything, she stays on her book all the time except she is with Joan, she doesn't laugh much.

Because she doesn't talk much, she was always bullied in school and had no one to defend her except Joan was there with her, Joan was more like an extrovert a jovial and more likely a talkertive so almost everyone knew her.

She grew up to be this cold and alone since she heard about her mum's death, so her dad tried his possible best for her to come out, be social and behave like every other kids out there.

He has always been worried mostly especially when ever she gets into the pressure of the environment, one thing or the other in school,concerning the peer pressure of a thing, growing up and àll, sometimes he can't help but get confused on how to handle matters concerning his daughter, but he still has to try and do it the daddies way.

He was working for a construction company back then before preal was born, but he had to stop working when pearl's mum died, but the good thing was, he was able to save up 25% of his Salary for a future plan he made for his family right before they go married.

So he was able to open a business to sustain himself and his daughter so he had to work so hard to provide all their needs, and also provide for her needs so she will feel like her mate and not left out.

He was able to open a small mini grocery supermarket that he has been managing since pearl was 6, snacks at the side, raw food on the other side, toiletries at the middle, drinks at the back and lot more.

Back in the kitchen pearl asked the question he was mostly scared of to answer.... "Dad why am I always bullied is there anything wrong with me..?..why...? "

She said as tears rolled from her eyes again.

.... "Shuu you shouldn't say that...!!! My dear there is nothing.... absolutely nothing wrong with you okay...?.. youbate fine and you are the best thing that has ever happened to me you are smart, you are beautiful ànd the sweet ,you should always remember that ok...? .. I love you my dear...!! "... " Thank you dad ...!!! I love you too you are the best..."

"Alright my princess ..!!! I will want you do something for me okay..!! go into your room take off your clothes, have a warm bath, come back and I will go make your favorite and we will both eat like a family okay...!!!? "..." Okay dadday thank you so much dad ... "

...."Any thing for you my little princess....!!! ".

..." Dad...!!!.. am not little am a young lady..." .....She turned back and said frowning.

.." Which ever way dear, you're still my little princess... " .....Hé said as he smiled at her.

Out side the gate Joan got into the car.

...." Ok mum let's go, hope I didn't waste time....???"

.. "yes you did young lady". Her mum replied as she smiled ... "So how is pearl and her dad, how did it go...???". .... "Well Mum they are cool.. "....

." So what happened at the party.....??"...Her mum asked.

So Joan narrated all that happeed at the party and her mum advices her to always be with pearl at all times by her side no matter what knowing her situation.

.... "Okay mum I will..thank you ..."..... " You are welcome my dear...."..... They both laugh and hugged.

....Her mum started the car and they both left.
