Tombstone was the second unique human Maverick encountered besides Spider-Man. Through continuous collisions, Maverick could feel that Tombstone had body resilience several times stronger than an ordinary person.
Especially his grayish-white skin, it really was as hard as stone, possessing an incredibly strong defense.
*Bang!* After blocking one of Tombstone's attacks, Maverick also used the momentum to somersault backward, creating some distance.
He raised his hands crossed in front of his chest. The next moment, the fingertips of these hands began to sharpen, even emitting a metallic luster.
Seeing the change in Maverick's hands, Tombstone's eyes narrowed slightly, because along with Maverick swinging his hands, there was also a piercing sound breaking the air.
"Let me see who's tougher between us," Maverick said coldly, then swiftly rushed towards Tombstone.
After Maverick's hands turned into claws, white marks began to appear on Tombstone's skin, which was as solid as a rock.
With his fierce attacks, Tombstone's body had already been cut open in several places, blood flowing from the wounds, staining his already damaged clothes red.
"Ssssh!" Tombstone directly tore off his shirt, exposing his upper body completely. He looked at Maverick with bloodshot eyes, twisted his neck, then beckoned provocatively.
Seeing this, Maverick snorted coldly, shook off the blood on his hands, and rushed forward again.
With the experience of their previous exchange, Tombstone occasionally managed to block one or two of Maverick's moves, but most of the time, he was continuously adding new wounds.
Maverick could feel that as he left more scars on Tombstone's body, the opponent's defense decreased more, and the wounds he received became longer and deeper.
His hands swung faster and faster, and Tombstone found it increasingly difficult to parry.
*Splurt!* With the sound of flesh being pierced, Maverick's right hand directly pierced Tombstone's skin, plunging his fingers deep into his abdomen.
Tombstone tightly grasped Maverick's right hand, preventing it from plunging deeper. The internal injuries made blood trickle from the corners of his mouth.
Maverick's left hand continued to rise, its fingertips shimmering with a metallic sheen, aiming for Tombstone's neck viciously.
Seeing this, Tombstone had no choice but to remove his left hand from Maverick's right wrist, using it to block the impending fatal threat.
He did manage to grab Maverick's left wrist, preventing the deadly claw strike from slashing his neck, but at the same time, because one hand was no longer restrained, Maverick's right hand plunged even deeper into his abdomen.
The intense pain made Tombstone's veins bulge, as he firmly controlled Maverick's hands and shouted loudly, "Stupid Rhino! Are you dead in the stones?"
With Tombstone's shout, Rhino, buried in the rubble, also charged out, roaring furiously while firmly holding Maverick, whose hands were restrained by Tombstone.
The enormous force exerted by Rhino's sturdy arms squeezed inward, and Maverick's body emitted the sound of bones cracking.
Thanks to Rhino's control over Maverick, Tombstone also stepped back in time, allowing the fingers stabbed into his abdomen to withdraw.
Feeling the pain of bones shattering, the eyes beneath Maverick's mask turned red and wild.
Originally, after his hands left Tombstone's body, Maverick immediately supported Rhino's sturdy arms to prevent him from causing greater harm. But at this moment, he simply let go of his hands, allowing Rhino to crush his spine and ribs.
Feeling Maverick's hands loosen and the bones crumble, Rhino also relaxed his arms and strength somewhat.
Just then, Maverick's body, like a snake, slipped away from Rhino's arms and onto his shoulders.
In the next instant, Venom instantly fixed Maverick's shattered bones and restored his already crushed organs.
Rhino, encountering this turn of events, quickly raised his hands, wanting to pull Maverick down. However, Maverick didn't give him the chance. Before his hands reached him, Maverick used his sharp fingers to burst his eyes.
"Ah!"
The intense pain and the bloody darkness made Rhino involuntarily cover his eyes, wildly charging around like a headless fly, then tripping over rubble and falling to the ground.
*Swoosh!* webbing shot out from Maverick's wrist, quickly wrapping up the rolling Rhino tightly on the ground.
After controlling Rhino, Maverick realized that Tombstone had disappeared without a trace. It had only been a minute or two since Maverick was held by Rhino until he managed to control Rhino himself.
"Where did that guy go?" Maverick asked Venom. He had been busy fighting Rhino and hadn't noticed Tombstone's movements.
Venom replied helplessly, "I was focused on this big idiot just now and didn't pay attention to that grayish guy."
"Damn, he's fast," Maverick muttered in frustration.
Since Tombstone had escaped, Maverick could only focus on Rhino. He approached the rolling Rhino on the ground, immobilized him, and then asked, "Tell me, who ordered you to kill me?"
Upon hearing Maverick's question, Rhino stopped whimpering and shook his head, saying, "I can't say."
Without hesitation, Maverick knocked out one of Rhino's teeth and continued, "Who sent you to kill me?"
Facing his question, Rhino still shook his head and said, "I can't say."
Compared to Tombstone, Rhino's skin was truly tough. Maverick couldn't pierce his skin, so he could only start with his teeth, knocking them out one by one in hopes of getting the answers he wanted.
Unfortunately, after several minutes, Maverick had removed all of Rhino's teeth, but he still refused to speak.
Seeing this, Maverick finally understood why Tombstone called him a stupid rhino; he was indeed very dumb but also surprisingly stubborn.
The battle here hadn't gone unnoticed. Maverick could hear sirens approaching. Since he couldn't get any answers, he decided not to waste any more time.
A tentacle emerged from Maverick's back and pierced directly into Rhino's eye, crushing his brain. This was the only method Maverick could think of to deal with this big idiot.
Thinking about Rhino's abnormal defensive abilities, curiosity flashed in Maverick's eyes. He couldn't understand how a normal person could become like this, almost like an impregnable human tank.
If it weren't for the weakness of the eyes, he would have been somewhat helpless against this ironclad behemoth.
With his thoughts racing, Maverick quickly collected some of Rhino's blood and skin samples. Looking at the lifeless Rhino, he shot out web and then swiftly disappeared before the police arrived.
