"Are you a deity?"
A high school girl shouted from the crowd. The type of spoiled brats, blaming the entire world and pitying themselves without even thinking about their own actions.
"Oh dear, you gave me a scare! I can hear you even if you don't scream!"
He said dramatically, faking a fake scared expression before adding,
" And yes I am!" .
"I would like to complain about the fairness of this voting!" She said, still shouting. Her whinny words proved her, made Angela's entire face twitch, and her back also shivered.
Angela's neighbor boy continued where the girl left, someone who long had been another type she hated, the self righteous type, the people who judged others easier than drinking water. Even before he could start talking, she felt the back of her head hurt!
"There might even be criminals between the highest voted people. "
Saying that, he looked straight her way.
'Did he mean me?' The thought made Angela's brows jump up as she her tightly pressed lips twitched. She is a doctor, for God's sake!
Next to her, Mike muttered swears.
"That damned bastard!"
Interested in this newly found niece, Angela got closer to Mikael, filling the one step gap between them. She leaned her head on his shoulder comfortably, which made Andreas also do the same.just from the other side. Making a Mikael sandwich!
"Why all fired up? Didn't you want to stay with your daddy?" Angela asked in a ridiculing tone with a final touch of an evil smirk.
"I want, but I don't want him to win either..."
Mikael's stubborn voice was very low, but Angela still heard it. Her eyes became moist from how touching it was! She gave him a proud pat on the shoulder.
'Seems like at last someone in this family filled with crazy pushovers has taken after me!'
The sparkly illusion's loud voice interrupted Angela's thought waves. Making her look that way with an angry and long "Tsk!".
"Hmm, it sounds reasonable," said the new manager with an evil smile. The smile gave Angela the creeps.
She knew this smile, a smile you make when you are bored and are about to do something crazy, not caring what others might suffer.
'Even if he really is a deity, he is the evil type!' she thought.
The loud guy's words and actions gave Angela the impression that he was pretending to be surprised. It felt like he was expecting and enjoying this commotion and turmoil like a perverted bastard.
"Bet this fraud could prevent it, but let it be..."
Angela murmured while glaring at the luster guy. The man, who seemed to have heard her words, gazed at her from the corner of his eyes coldly. This didn't make her stop glaring. Now, she glared with wide eyes, raised brows and a disdainful smirk.
It made the other person's eyes twitch while he ended the eye contact and put on a forced smile. One that screamed scam to Angela.
" I can't do anything alone as many deities donate the teleportation scrolls, but I shall relay your message!"
She couldn't help scoffing. It made a few of the guys closer to her look at her way. Some with curiosity. Others with anger and anxiousness..
*"Sick unauthorized bastard... I pity everyone in this building!"
A cold and angry voice sounded in Angela's head.
'He is sick, but I don't agree with the second part! I pity no one!!!'
Angela bombarded back to the thought. Her pity never led to a good ending, therefore she felt allergic to pitying, or at that to anything that could make her look like a pushover...
Suddenly, a window showed up in front of her. It looked different from the one she had seen earlier, a different layout and different settings. She couldn't make sense of it. Messages poured in.
[ You have purchased 999 scrolls! You have paid 9 990 000 cores.
Your new balance: ∞+]
[ You have purchased 999 healing potions! You have paid 9 990 000 cores.
Your new balance: ∞+]
'The f***? Even if I knew nothing about this currency, why should I pay that ridiculously high sounding price to any XXXX%% beeep beep XX&&XXX?'
She looked at the widow as she tried to undo whatever the one in her head had done. The window was absurd on its own, but her balance seemed way more absurd. Infinity? What is this, some kind of joke?
The balance made less sense to her than the purchases being made of their own accord under her name, and the next message made less sense than the balance.
[New sale in the system!
You have received a payment of 9,990,000 cores.
You have received a payment of 9,990,000 cores.
New balance: ∞+ ]
'A system error? ...?' She thought, looking closely at the message. Did it just pay her? It felt like water on fire. Getting payed is never bad.
Then, as she was in confusion, the voice in her head sounded again.
"Donate all the scrolls and healing potions to everyone registered in the building with an auto destination to the nearest place without monsters."
Before Angela could stop it, a yellow light filled the entire floor. To be exact, it wasn't the building itself but the people emitting shiny halos like sun. Everyone other than her.
'What the heck is going on here?'
Soon, she got the answer.
["The dying saint" has donated a healing potion! X999]
["The dying saint" has donated a teleport scroll to a monster-less destination! X999]
Seeing all the windows in front of everyone, she had has gotten two messages less than everyone else.
Her gaze fell on the window in front of Mikael.
[You received the blessing of the dying saint! Healing potion X1! You received the pity of the dying saint! Teleport scroll X1!]
'So, is the Bi*** in my head the saint? Why? No, why????'
There were two questions in her head. ' Why do I always have to be surrounded by pushovers? Shit, get the hell out!! I really don't need another pushover around here!!'
She tried to scream in her head but it was to no use as the voice was long gone. Leaving behind sighs of relief and hope filled laughters. Angela being the only one left to get screwed...
'You bi-xx! If you are giving everyone scrolls, why leave me out??????'
However, neither the merry group's happiness lasted nor her grief. A suppressing chilly air filled the floor. Then came the ominous system message:
[ Warning: The floor's boss has arrived!
Warning: The Orc-king has used an authority!
Warning: You are under the effect of the authority "Tyrant!"
Because of the authority, no scrolls work! Defeat the boss!!!
