91 You Are Lucky

Emilia’s POV

A sharp gust of cold wind swept through, making me clench my fists in anxious anticipation as I stared at the large door. Compared to the fearsome wolf-eagles, the mysterious black was even more unsettling, especially with that eerie voice echoing through the air.

“Who are you?” I shouted.

There was no response. The peak, blanketed in snow, remained silent, making me wonder if I had imagined the voice out of sheer terror. The castle door stood open, but from where I was, all I could see was darkness, like a cavernous maw ready to swallow anyone who dared enter.

Biting my lower lip, I glanced around at the dry grass and towering stacks of firewood. I felt like a sacrificial offering, waiting for the torch to be lit.

“Who are you? Why are you in the wolf's den? I know you're there, tell me your name!” I yelled, my voice echoing in the stillness. The castle remained silent. I couldn't wait any longer. I needed to find Klaus.
