Love Again

### Chapter 3

Till now, Adam didn't know Rose's name. He found out while they were conversing.

"So her name is Rose. Aw...so beautiful...just like a rose she looks...and her voice...awww...so sweet...Really, she has been made with much delicacy by God...aww..." Adam thought to himself, mesmerized.

Adam kept looking out of the window but listened intently to her conversation.

"You know, yesterday I completed the Trigonometry chapter and it was really tough," Rose said.

"Really! I am only halfway there," Nancy replied.

"You should take tutorial classes to stay ahead," Rose suggested.

"My parents keep telling me this, but I like to do it on my own," Nancy said.

"You should take a trial. It's really good," Rose encouraged.

"But now...aw...maybe when I get some lower marks, then I might," Nancy conceded.

Rose laughed, and Adam thought, "Aww...her laughter, it's the sweetest I have ever heard...so soft...so soothing to the ears...awww..."

The bus stopped at the school, and everyone got down. Adam waited for Rose to get down, but feeling awkward, he hurried off the bus.

As he walked to his class, Rose's laughter kept ringing in his mind.

Adam had fewer friends compared to others, but all respected him. Though he was absent-minded during class, he still managed to answer the questions his teacher asked.

After class, he rushed to the bus and grabbed the seat next to where Rose usually sat. Unfortunately, Rose didn't arrive, making him feel sad. He worried and thought about the possibilities of her absence.

On the way home, he recalled her conversation from the morning and concluded that she must have gone to her tutorial classes.

Adam had his snacks, turned on the TV, and started watching a movie. A classic romantic movie was playing, and he didn't change the channel.

He kept watching and began imagining himself and Rose in place of the actors. The situation perfectly coincided with his and gave him hope that maybe not all love stories fail.

He fell in love with the movie's message that even with the sacrifice of a loved one, there might be a chance of being together again. This changed his mindset, and he thought that maybe he should give it a try.

"Everybody deserves a second chance, and yet it's my first love. So it must get at least a chance," he said to himself.

"I need to change my attitude to get her attention. I need to be more confident. I will have a changeover, and after that, I will ask her to be my friend then..." he smiled.
