chapter87 disgraceful

Scarlett ran into the hallway and quietly called Asher. The phone rang, waking Asher from his sleep at the hotel. Groggily, he picked up the phone and mumbled, "What's up? Are you coming out to find me?"

"No," Scarlett whispered, hiding in a corner, "Asher, do you think I should tell my family about us?"

"Up to you," Asher replied, still half-asleep. "You just got home. If you tell them now, are you going to explain how you were sold to me?"

"Of course not," Scarlett said, feeling troubled. She had been missing for several months, and she didn't want to tell her family that she met Asher during that time. So, she wanted to wait a bit before telling them. "Asher, when are you planning to meet my parents?"

"If I visit your parents, does that mean I can take you away?" Asher asked slowly. Scarlett was caught off guard. "Are you still half-asleep? It sounds like human trafficking. If my parents agree after you visit, we can officially date."
