Duke's eyes slowly flickered open, groggily taking in the rumblings and vibrations coursing through his body. He turned his head slightly to the left, his gaze meeting Nadia's as she drove. She turned, noticing his eyes on her. "Duke, you're awake," she said, a smile spreading across her face.

"Barely" He mumbled "Where are we?"

"On our way to a safe house" She responded turning back to face the road ahead

The words barely escaped his lips before his eyes closed shut again "Okay"

The next time Duke opened his eyes, he found himself in bed, within the confines of a well lit room. His eyes burned as he tried to avert his gaze from the bright light shining just above his head but his hands refused to move

The window in his head flashed a timer counting down with the words penalty blinking underneath it.
