Contrast was written all over the new day compared with the lives of the night before. Elara's team had barely snatched a few hours of sleep when daylight found them back in the safe house, trying to unravel the outcome of the operation and strategizing the next move.
Sophia had already started piecing together information from the intercepted shipment. Weapons were traced to locations all around the city, each connected to different cells of Hale's network. The team's immediate task was to disrupt those cells before they regrouped and hit back.
Elara stood up, addressing this group at the large table—maps, files, electronic devices covering every inch. "Well, we may have covered a lot of ground, but there is no room or time for rest. We do have leads on several locations with an active network of Hales, so our objective now is to cut down these cells and prevent them from regrouping.
