Chapter LXXVI - Taunts (part 1)

I was watching with my ass clenched when it happened.

The wind blades were powerful, and yet Hod couldn't do anything to dodge it. In the end, it was too late.

"Guhakk!!"

Hod coughed more blood right after he had fallen to the ground.

A lot of people have come to help. The guy got hit on the stomach and on the chest from Cony's wind slashes. Lots of blood is flowing out, but the most are coming from his stomach and mouth.

The wind slashes might be weaker than the wind blade, but it's force was still enough to slice someone's bones.

Meanwhile, Cony is panicking.

"Uwawuwawuwa!!!"

She flew down and immediately placed Hod on her laps. Hod still had blood coming from his mouth, which made her even more worried.

"Why didn't you dodge or anything!?"

The other adventurers can only watch in confusion as to what happened. This is a very unexpected accident. They all know that Hod is as good as a Yellow ranked adventurer, and somehow he got hit by a Green ranked adventurer's magic.

Though, Hod had his reasons.

One of those reasons is because he knows that there is someone to heal him. 

Hod, sweating heavily and coughing blood, is very confused as to why he is still feeling pain. The person he was expecting… is still not coming.

Hod reached out his hand towards this way. Cony immediately understood and immediately called out.

"Rize!! Rize!!"

Meanwhile, over here, I'm still sitting down. Valey and Barett turned their gazes at me, who is still sitting down with my annoyed expression.

"Say, Rize... something seemed to have happened there..."

"Nothing happened. Carry on."

Valey looked very shocked. She turned to Barett, and now it's his turn.

"That looks like Hod on the ground. I wonder if he is okay…?"

"He is okay. Carry on."

"Rize! Something went very wrong!"

"Nothing's wrong. Carry on."

Both Barett and Valey was very confused, and I'm still sitting down.

That bastard... He must have thought because I'm here, it's okay for him to take a hit. Damn no! I have a secret identity to keep!

I'm just going to let him suffer a little… let's see if he likes it.

Heheh… heheheh…

Valey and Barett saw me chuckling, which makes them even more worried and scared. Before long, Cony flew this way and arrived in front of us.

"Rize!!! Hod is hurt!!"

"Oh... He is?"

I answered monotonously.

"You! Come onnn!"

Cony pulled my hand and lifted me up. Dangling in the air with my hand being pulled, we flew towards Hod and the other group of adventurers.

Cony let me down rather roughly, and I turned my annoyed gaze at her before walking to the crowd.

"Stand back, everyone… Professional healer here."

I said to the others monotonously. They made way for me, and I stared annoyingly at Hod.

"R-Rize…-"

"You wanted Cony to know the result of her training, but at least don't make me do things, please?

You thought because I'm here, you can get hurt as you please?

How about my identity and secret, huh? Have you ever thought of that?

Do you even realize how fucked you are right now? You have a hole in your stomach.

How painful is it? I bet it is very painful, huh? Why don't we keep you like this for a little bit longer, huh?"

I continuously said to Hod while being very monotonous, but the guy seemed to be too out of energy to laugh.

"S… Sorry..."

"Rize, heal him!!"

Behind me, I can hear Cony panicking. Everyone else is also becoming very worried, and I'm sure they are going to hunt me down if I let Hod die. I turned around and patted Cony's shoulder, then I raised my other hand's thumb.

"He did this to himself, so he should heal himself."

I said to Cony monotonously with my right thumb being lifted.

"Rizee!!!"

She shook my body using her hands on my shoulder.

After being waved around by Cony, I had no choice but to heal him. I turned back to Hod, and kneeled next to him.

"Free dinner."

I said to Hod monotonously.

"Please…"

"Nice doing business with you!"

I moved my right hand above his chest, and I casted my healing magic.

"Woah!! It's healing magic!"

Everyone else around us watches as I healed Hod's inner wound. Most of the damage is inside, so his clothes aren't very soaked in blood. That is why his mouth is very red, because he was coughing all that juice from inside his stomach.

Five seconds later, Hod lifted his body and seated. He studied his condition, while everyone else was speechless from how quick he was healed.

"I feel… great."

He turned his gaze to me with a grin, but that grin disappeared when he saw my annoyed face.

"I want a cooked chicken with some spicy sauced salad around it. Also I want the orange juice as the drink-"

"Can we discuss this later!?"

Hod immediately stood up and apologized to everyone. He told everyone that he knew there's a healer on his team and will heal him, but didn't expect her to be so dense.

Everyone else laughed, and simply left us to be with ourselves.
