The chief had already explained the situation on the paper inside the knight emblem.
In the paper, the chief stated that he was a knight that retired and lived in his village. He said that the situation is already a 'code red', which is an incredibly dangerous situation according to the knights.
The knight explained what the code red means to Armir. The man, who is actually the chief of the Office, wanted to hear more about the monster that Armir mentioned.
Armir explained what he knows about the monster as detailed as he can. He encountered the monster three times already, and he already had a good guess of what it looks like.
The receptionist lady wrote everything down from Armir's mouth, and the chief of the Office listened to all the details.
When Armir finished his explanation, the chief of the Adventurer's Office grabbed a book from the bookshelf behind his chair and opened it. He searched for the right page, and finally placed the book on the table. A certain page on the book can be seen, including the drawing on it.
Seeing the drawing, Armir's expression changed.
"Does the monster… look anything like this?"
Armir stared at the drawing with utter hatred. The drawing was extremely detailed. The fangs, the claws, the muscles on the beast, as well as the spikes on their spine.
Armir nodded at the chief, and he let out a deep sigh as he placed his palms on his face.
"Oh… dear god."
"What is it?"
Armir asked the chief, but he instead turned towards the receptionist lady who was writing everything down.
"Klane… call everyone. We have a Yellow situation."
.
.
.
It was unclear why, but suddenly all high ranking adventurers were called to the Office.
Night time just arrived, and the third bell just rang about an hour ago.
This had never happened before, so I am getting quite confused here. All of the sudden, Hod called from the crystal, saying that everyone should come to the Office immediately.
He mentioned on the crystal call that there's an emergency and something about a Yellow poop.
Yeah, I don't get it either. Hod is just weird.
And just like that, the diner at the Office was closed for all the adventurers. In fact, the entire Office was put on lockdown, allowing only the high ranking adventurers that were invited to come.
I can tell a bunch of high ranking adventurers are present. I can see Fran, Cane, and everyone else from their teams. There's also the Yellow ranked asshole that bullied everyone in the arena about a month ago. Marksus and his team are also here.
To see this much high ranking adventurers gathering in one spot made me quite worried. Something terrible must have happened, and it's not a low ranking one.
A high ranking issue…
After everyone arrives, it didn't take long for the master, Valon, to come out from the stairs along with a young man. He headed straight towards the pile of tables that was placed together so that a single person could stand on top of it.
The master jumped to the top in one leap and faced the adventurers.
"Sorry for calling you all out so late, but we have an emergency…"
The master did not waste a single second, and he spoke right after he arrived above that stack of tables.
"A Yellow ranked dungeon has been spotted."
Everyone who heard that became shocked. A lot of them started to chatter among themselves, even Valey started to mumble some words by herself next to me.
"It was sighted around a week ago. The scouts were found in a forest, next to a village far on the north, while the dungeon itself is still unknown.
For the monsters, we called them as Misoh, a monster with the body of a man and the head of a saber."
The master explained, but I already knew about Misoh. I read about them in the book of monsters, but I never actually meet them.
"We have known from experience from time to time, that Misoh are in fact considered to be a dungeon boss. It is a Yellow ranked monster, with a very powerful physical ability and high intelligence.
Which means… having them showing up as scouts instead of a dungeon boss, simply confirmed that a Yellow ranked dungeon has been opened."
Valon turned to the young man next to him, under the mountain of tables. The young man was surprised when he got called up. He timidly climbed the tables and arrived on the top, gazing at the crowd in front of him.
"M-My name is Armir! I am from a village in the north, not far from the mountains."
He introduced himself, and he does look quite nervous. But there is something on his eyes, a certain type of emotion.
Hatred…?
"T-The village has been… under the attack of… these monsters for a week. At the time, we didn't know what the monster was, and we are… quite poor to be looking for help from the capital."
His gaze fell down, he is telling the story rather hesitatingly. It's as if he is relieving memories that are very painful to him.
"But, a messenger comes to our village, and we found out from him that we can actually get help from the kingdom. And these monsters, they had been… slaughtering the villagers!
Twelve men, including my father… have died to their hands. Their corpses couldn't even be found… Most likely eaten…"
He choked on his words a lot due to holding back his crying. It was a very emotional moment, and no one is even saying anything. Everyone just listened, calmly, and sharply at his every word.
He stopped for a while to take a deep breath. Once he had taken in a lot of air, he suddenly bowed.
"Please!!! Lend us!! The villagers, your strength!!!"
The adventurers were quite taken aback by the emotional words of the young man. They were moved, to the point that they would do anything to help him.
Valon patted the young man's head, and the young man stood straight again. Valon nodded at him, and he slowly stepped down from the tables.
Once he was out of view, the master spoke again.
"As you have heard, twelve villagers had lost their lives. That's because they didn't know what they were up against.
A Yellow ranked dungeon opening, right next to a village… How horrible… We have to make a move."
The master then took out a paper from his pocket. He slowly unfolds the paper as he speaks.
"Tonight, we will devise a plan. Tomorrow, we will start moving. You all may return home to prepare, but those who are listed in the paper please stay behind."
Valon then started to read the names from the paper. Those are the names of the team leaders, like Fran and Hod.
Surprisingly, I also got called, which confused some people. But to the likes of Hod or Fran, me getting called is simply a normal thing.
"That is all. The rest of you, come to the Office for departure tomorrow, after the second bell. We will prepare the carriages, so prepare well."
After calling the names, the master allowed everyone else to go home. Valey patted Hod's shoulder and left the office along with the other adventurers who weren't called.
And after a while, all the adventurers who weren't called have left, leaving only the highest ranking adventurers in the adventurers Office in a single large room.
