Five minutes ago.
"Then, we should go check the factory."
I said the idea to the mages in front of me, and they agreed. They decided to split up and let some guys stay at the HQ while me and two others are going to the factory.
"Wait, why are you coming? You're just a student."
"Student or not, don't forget my capabilities."
I said coldly to the mage who said that. He seemed to have forgotten the fact that I cured him and immediately looked down on me.
The three of us left them on the HQ, while we went to the factory to see exactly why the water bottles were cursed.
I do have a fear that something terrible is happening so suddenly. I was gone for only a day, and the whole kingdom turned to crap.
We arrived at the factory on the eastern side of the city. Funny, because the factory is closed despite being on weekdays.
We landed outside the gate and found the closed sign. The two mages who came with me quickly became confused.
"What should we do?"
"I don't know…"
Hearing them talk, I let out a sigh. I stepped between them and arrived in front of the gate. I lifted my foot, and kicked the gate open.
BRANKK!!!
That was… too loud.
"O-Oi!! That's damaging property!!"
"Are you seriously thinking about manners in this situation?"
I said coldly and walked towards the door, leaving the two super confused 'professional' mages. Arriving in front of the door, I was about to kick it open again, but then it opened from the inside.
"Yes? Who is coming?"
An old man with slightly bald hair appeared from the door. From his tone, he was quite calming and nice, but I can sense danger coming inside the door.
Seeing the old man, the two mages behind me immediately freaked out.
"T-That's sir Balhard…! The noble who was imprisoned yesterday!"
"The Magister dude?"
"Yes!! He escaped earlier!!"
Hearing that, I quickly understood what was going on. I turned my gaze back at the smiling old man, who also seemed to understand the reason why we are here.
A grin formed on my face as I smiled softly at the old man.
"Good evening! We are just here to do some checking. Please abide, or you'll get your heads chopped!"
Hearing that, the two mages behind me became even more frightened at me than the old man. The old man, too, reacted.
The smile disappeared from his face as he stared sharply at me.
"Heads…?"
That's right. I know.
I know how many individuals are surrounding us.
"Seniors… stay close to me if you want to live."
I said to the two mages behind me, and they got even more worried.
Before long, the surroundings became heavier. Pressures coming from literally everywhere were centered directly at us, followed by the hundreds of bloodlusts.
The area surrounding us was quite wide and surrounded with buildings, which makes this place the perfect spot for an ambush. And from the shadows, limbs and bodies are slowly emerging as the hidden assassins started to show themselves.
There are over a hundred of them…
Damn… they are strong.
"I see you are a perceptive and beautiful young lady."
The old man stepped forward and arrived right in front of me. He lifted his hand, and placed his thumb on my chin.
"Too bad you will die today."
"Hmm… we'll see."
The grin returned to my face, and the old man chuckled as well. From the top of his head, he slowly dissipates into black particles, disappearing into the air.
I knew from the beginning that he was just a clone or some sort, that's why I didn't rush to attack him immediately.
But… the ones around us were not.
"On second thought, don't stick close to me."
I said to the two mages behind me. I turned my gaze at them, and they turned to me worriedly.
"If you get close, I might mistook you for an enemy. So uh… start running."
I said to them, but they are still very confused and scared. I let out a sigh and took my shadow wings out.
"I said… start Running!!"
My voice changes as my body slowly undergoes transformation. The skin on my body slowly turned into black scales, and a large horn appeared on the top of my forehead. The retina on my left eye turned black, and my red pupil became even brighter.
The two mages already started running long before I finished the sentence, so they didn't get affected by the pressure much.
As expected, they didn't get attacked.
The assassins were focused on me.
"I have to commend all of you… for having enough balls to stand before me."
I said coldly to the ones surrounding me. I can sense their bloodlust slowly disappearing as fear envelopes their minds, but they know that they shouldn't run. After all, there's over a hundred of them here, and every single one is strong and capable.
How can a single student take them down?
"Now, let's see how good all of you are… as my training objects…"
The ground where I stood previously was destroyed as I leaped. The assassins panicked, but then they noticed my presence in the skies.
I glared at the assassins on the roofs, and I noticed all of them had the same color on their eyes.
Fear… regret…
While being in the air, I stared at each and every one of them, all while deciding.
"Eanie… meenie… miney… you."
My gaze landed on a certain assassin above the factory building, and he was too fazed to notice when I landed behind him.
He slowly turned around, but my palms already arrived on the back of his head.
BAKK!!
BAARRR!!!!
I slapped him across the building. That won't kill him, but it will certainly disabled him for life.
"Attack!!"
One of the assassins shouted, and all the assassins moved like flying bugs as they surrounded me.
As I grinned, it felt like time had stopped for me. Their movements became very slow, and I can feel myself moving just normally.
I lifted both of my hands upwards and stretched my body up, as well as doing some light exercise. I can feel cracks coming from my back because I didn't even stop once when I was cleansing the field, and that felt very weird.
"I should have taken breaks…"
I said lazily and disappeared.
The faces of the assassins were fierce, fearsome as they slowly approached me on the skies with their magic attacks. But at the next second, their faces were warped.
As if they got punched in the face, but time was still stopping for the punch to take effect.
Simply said, I punched every single one of them in the face without even reaching a second.
For some reason, I became much faster.
BAKK!!! BAKK!! BAKK!!! BAKK!!! BAKK!!! BAKK!!! BAKK!!! BAKK!!!
BAKK!!! BAKK!!! BAKK!!!
BAKK!!! BAKK!!!
BAKK!!!
The sound of their faces being punched was heard when time flows normally again. They flew towards the direction of the punch, and they crashed into whatever was in that direction.
After crashing, every single one of them went unconscious.
I slowly landed on the ground again in front of the door. I let out a breath, and slowly turned back to normal again.
Being in that devil mode feels awesome… But I know if I lose control things wouldn't be so great anymore.
Well, enough about that.
I began stepping into the factory. I placed my hand on the door and opened it, and my eyes widened when I saw the inside.
Everything in the room… is purple.
