Chapter 98 - Stacking Up

With each passing moment, however, the temptation to give in to his darker impulses grew stronger. He could feel the anger bubbling beneath the surface, threatening to consume him if he let it. But Jason knew that giving in to the darkness would only lead to more suffering and trouble.

So he gritted his teeth and forced himself to remain calm and focus on the task at hand. He refused to let the enemy's apparently condescending attitude get to him, knowing that his strength was in his ability to stay calm. 

"Or maybe not, since I caused a lot of damage when he got on my nerves," Jason thought. "Anyway, this battle is taking too long. Come to think of it, it seems that poison is really his weakness, thanks to his backstory."
