Jason was surprised at his unexpected fortune, yet he understood that obtaining such a treasure wouldn't be without risks. No, crossing this dungeon would be a stroll. He stood at its precipice, facing a boss—a towering, purple-hued Colossus that looked like it came out of a fantasy world. To add insult to injury, he would need to get rid of the boss's minions. 
The real question remained: How could he, at level one, defeat the dungeon's boss?

It looked like Jason's acting worked since Thrud didn't move from her spot, and when the energy on the spear began to get more violent, she prepared to unleash it… a lightning attack couldn't be dodged. It moved at the speed of light, after all. Still, Thrud's reactions didn't move at the speed of light. So, when she tensed her body to attack, Jason used his plan.

Thrud saw the energy on Jason's sword cracking, and then he used Mana Blade. Still, this time around, she was willing to take her chances since her attack would be a lot more powerful. However, she changed her plans when Jason unleashed a quick barrage of Mana Blades.

All of the attacks were aimed at Thrud's neck, so it was clear that Jason was in a hurry to end all that as soon as possible. Once she gets hurt, Thrud knows that she will have a hard time aiming, while Jason only has to keep his stance to keep attacking. Thanks to that, she changed her aim and then targeted the Mana Blades.
