"Aaaaahhhhh shit! That thing again, that's why I don't want to drink" trying to sit but he can't because his head is hurting like crazy, he just wanna die
'Double shit!! It's almost time for work' standing up to get ready, regretting his decision to drink when he needs to work the next day
"You drank last night??" His friend Val asked him on the hallway going to their office
"Yeah, how'd you know?" Asking Val with confusion
"You look like shit!" Val laughed slapping Allen's shoulder
"Really?" He answered checking out his button down shirt and fixing his hair using his fingers
"Naahh it's just a guess but, there's something different about your aura today, care to share?" Val putting on a worried face
"Ahh, It's just about work" trying to dismiss the topic
"So let's work now the devils going down in a minute" Val said in a hushed tone
"Yeah" confused but agreeing to what Val said
'A Devil going down?? Maybe he's talking about the big boss.. there's a penthouse in this building, it's where the boss's staying'
Nobody can enter there without the boss's permission and they didn't even know who's the boss or what he looks like, they just know he's strict in terms of work and that he knows everything that's going on inside this building, they think that's a total creep tho
But thinking about having a CCTV maybe the boss is using it to supervise their actions

"Yow! Allen let's go grab some lunch!" Another out going person apart from his supervisor but only if it's about lunch
"Okay" Allen almost forgot about the time
"Uhmm excuse me, is Mr. Allen Queen around?" A co-worker from another department looking for him
"Yes, and that's me, why?" Confused as to why his co-worker seeking for his presence
"The boss needs you" hearing that statement he almost wanted to faint
"Huh? The BOSS needs me? Why?" Trying not to show that he's nervous
"Well it's not actually the boss "boss" but the HR's boss" the lady explained
"Ohhhh okay" relief scattered around his body after what he just heard
"She said you should come now, like right now" looking at her wrist watch
"Ahhh? O-okay" looking at Val who's confused as him
"Follow me please" leading them both to the HR's office
"R-right"
"Hello Mr. Queen" the HR's boss greeted him
"Yes, good noon" he's standing still in front of the boss's table until she gestured for him to sit
"I called you here to discuss about your upcoming promotion" saying without hiding around the bush
"Huh? Wha--" startled about the news
"Yeah, you will be promoted next month, but"
"Hmm?" Waiting for the next words
"It depends on you if you'll accept it or not" a promotion that needs the decision of the person who will be promoted
"Huh? Pardon?" Allen is clearly confused as to what's happening
"If you accept it you'll become the Personal Assistant of BIG BOSS" she's being straight forward because it's lunch break and she doesn't want to hold Allen any longer than needed
"P. A? Of the big boss?" talking to himself and trying to cope up with the situation
"Yes, the big boss informed me himself to talk to you, here's the job description and you'll only be given a week to decide" handing Allen the envelope consisting of his job description
"A week?" Still can't cope up
"Yes, I'll summon you after a week and ask about your decision, thank you Mr. Queen" dismissing him
"Y-yeah, thank you"
A promotion to being a personal assistant? Is it really a promotion?? Being a personal assistant of a business tycoon? who is until now keeping a very, very low profile on his business and personal life
'Should I accept it? I'm curious who the big boss is and being his Personal Assistant? I would get a chance to see him right? Right???'
Okay!! I'll read the job description and then decide what to do next
"So what did the HR's boss talked to you about?" Val was waiting for him to have lunch
"It's nothing" he doesn't want to talk about it untill he has decided about the matter
"Reeeaaalllly??" Val trying to be nosy
"Yeah" Allen said sternly
"So what's with that envelope?" When Allen didn't answer "Okay fine I'll stop asking and just wait for you to talk about it"
"Thanks" relive for now but until when?
"Really what's inside of that??" Val asked after 5 minutes
"Your patience only took five minutes to drain" laughing at his friend's impatience
"Because I'm intrigued by that envelope of yours" Val tried to get the envelope
"Next time I'll tell you, okay?" Allen hiding the envelope out of Val's reach
"Tsk.. Fine" saying it while pouting and making sure to show Allen that he's sulking
