Matthew sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I'm sorry. She cares about the Chairman, that's why. But right now, I have to leave for a week to take care of some important matters in the Chairman's stead. Please, all of you, try to get along and take care of him."

Mrs. Wolfe bristled but said nothing, her arms crossed tightly over her chest. April looked at Matthew with the same expression Mrs. Wolfe had. "We'll do our best," she promised nonetheless.

Mrs. Wolfe nodded reluctantly. "Fine. I'll do my best to avoid any conflict."

Matthew gave her a grateful nod. "Thank you, Arette. And Mrs. Wolfe, please try to keep things calm. We all want what's best for the Chairman."

Mrs. Wolfe watched them go, her eyes narrowing. "This isn't over, Arette," she hissed under her breath.
