Garette stepped onto the school premises, walking past Dyanne as she was dropped off by her driver. Completely ignoring her, he entered the hallways where he surprisingly found Joseph surrounded by the ones he'd like to refer to as the idiots of the junior year.

Garette paused for a second. He didn't know that Joseph was friends with such lowlives. From speaking to Joseph the previous day, it didn't occur to him that Joseph would mix himself with students like them.

Just as he was about to turn a blind eye to it, he caught the uncomfortable look on Joseph's face. One of the guys touched his hair and Joseph tried to shake his hand off, but due to the significant height and body size difference—Joseph was 161 cm and weighed 56 kg, a stark contrast to the guys surrounding him—he was unsuccessful.

Wild thoughts came into Garette's head: Was Joseph getting bullied? Just a few seconds more confirmed it for Garette—Joseph was indeed being bullied.

Joseph went in to help.
