"Chairman Ferrari," Dr. Kingston began, his voice steady, "there's something you need to know. Madame is pregnant. I suggest you come to the hospital and get proper tests done."

Dominic's heart skipped a beat. He stared at the doctor, disbelief and confusion plastered on his face. "Pregnant?" he echoed, the word feeling foreign and impossible in his mouth. He turned to look at Arette.

Nico's expression changed too; he was surprised and intrigued at the same time because he never thought Dominic would want to start a family. "Well, that certainly changes how I look at things," he muttered under his breath.

Dominic's mind was trying to process this revelation. Pregnant. How? But then again, he had raped her with no condom or contraception, so pregnancy was very probable.
