The darkness and the stench of blood formed the backdrop as he made a startling discovery—a corpse that resembled him among the other victims.
Shocked and confused, Fionn tried to convince himself that he wasn't the perpetrator of this massacre. He decided to escape the dungeon, adopting the identity of Fionn the Guide, hoping to find answers to the mystery that surrounded the place. Yet, the question of who he truly was and why he had awakened in this dungeon kept looming over him. With incomplete memories and inconsistent recollections, Fionn struggled to piece together the events that led to this catastrophe at every step he took.

This is an engaging book. I love how he explains things—it’s like I’m right there with him. Even when he’s eating, confused, or being called a monster.
Love how the dungeon’s atmosphere is soaked in dread right from the start. Maybe adding a sensory hint—like metallic tang or distant dripping—could pull readers deeper into the scene
This is a good book, the story is interesting, and it really gives off good vibes. I like it😆
A wonderful novel. Great writing all around. Author had a clear and coherent idea underpinning the whole story. he delivered on that through the end. There are some arcs that felt kind of long but it worked out in the end.
this novel I'm not even going to give it the word book this novel has you on the edge of your seat it keeps you engaged with cliffhangers, twisted plots, and more.
I'm only at chapter 8 and I can see this is a great novel cant wait to see which direction it goes with the world building and to see all the other characters that will be introduced soon
Overall, a great book and definitely worth adding to my library for future reads. The plot is well-crafted and the characters are deeply engaging. Each chapter leaves me wanting more.

Found this recently, and it has quickly become my new must-read. Though the supporting character perspectives do not interest me, I have not found myself zoning out to do other things as I do with other books.
A slow burn novel takes its time to build tension, focusing on characters' growth and relationships over a longer period. The story unfolds gradually, with small moments of change that lead to a satisfying payoff. While it may not have fast action.
The beginning is somewhat slow-paced and may require patience, but it gradually develops into a quite engaging experience if followed through attentively
